October 19, 200816 yr I always like to know the source because very often comments are taken out of context and can seem worse/better than they actually are. :P The press are masters at mis-information and massaging quotes. It annoys me when fans do it. Not you TT - just some do it too often so I like to read it for myself before commenting. Edited October 19, 200816 yr by munchkin
October 19, 200816 yr Thanks for bringing over the latest offerings. And thanks munchkin for letting us know about D. Hadn't realised it was down. To-day's a bit bitty - so I haven't had time.
October 25, 200816 yr Mawnin peeps, :D there's an hour of Will coming up in 10 mins time at 11.am-12pm today on the MTV HITS music channel, SKY channel 353. So that should include all his video's more or less I think.
October 27, 200816 yr Just a reminder to let you know, that Will's doing/done the Oxford debate tonight, apparently we might be getting some news later on from someone who was there, so if Devoted is still unavailable, it will probably be posted on the O/S. :D

October 28, 200816 yr Mawnin peeps, :D HEAT & STAR mag snippets, mant thanks to Ruthie for write up and info. Heat Mag ~ TV Introduction Page Full page picture of Will, black jacket, t shirt, black trousers leaning over, laughing (we have seen it before and its gorgeous, vein in neck standing out too ) The Will Factor Will Young puts past feuds behind him to mentor the remaining finalists. Preview: Page 125. Page 125. (Pick of the Day) Picture of Simon Cowell smiling with a t-shirt on which has a picture of gareth on it and it says "I love Gareth" and Will is behind him smiling with the caption "Do yu still prefer Gareth?". Write up:- We're loving how effortlessly wall-to-wall our Saturday night entertainment has become, Right now, there are no fiddly half-hour gaps, that have to be filled with a random episode of Friends or Sex and the City from the DVD vaults. We can kick off with Hole In The Wall, magic up some Merlin, have a saunder with Strictly, then record the end as we hop over to the X Factor (Later watching Strictly's climax in the gap between the main show and X Factor results show. Ok, so its not entirelely efforless, but it keeps our brains in good shape.) And with The X Factors gloriously epic current format, thats us sorted for the whole night, which sees the arrival of fab guest Will Young . He'll be mentoring the acts for this week's performances (having officially ended his feud with Simon Cowell) as well as performing his new single, Grace. This weeks theme is disco music, which is always extra-kitsch. Yes, the stage is quite literally set for a slice of TV heaven. Also in Star Mag Star Mag Intro TV Page, another nearly full page picture, khaki t-shirt, singing into a mic, lovely ! Wording:- Will Performs for the judges! then on the Saturday TV page, another small piccy of him singing and the write up of :- Will Young decides it's time to join in the fun as he shows the hopefuls what it's like to be a reality show winner - you're back singing on a reality show! Anyhoo, it's time for the remaining acts to sing their hearts out as it's disco week. The judges will then make their decisions and Dermon announces the latest casualty.
October 28, 200816 yr Author Thanks for bringing the news over suggy. Wonder if Heat have it right about the mentoring. Hope so more Will on our screens.
October 28, 200816 yr Thanks suggy. Reckon it just means he's going to be chatting to them. He said he was looking forward to meeting them all.
October 28, 200816 yr Thanks suggy I am so terrified/looking forward to his performance  I'm sure he'll be fine sunday, I can't believe I'm actually looking forward to the x-factor show on saturday.
October 29, 200816 yr Where is everybody then? nothing to report or say for yourselves? I've been looking at a book called "20th Century Antiques" this morning and I can't believe the amount of stuff I've chucked away over the years, that's now worth a lot of money.
October 29, 200816 yr I'm here Suggy. I can't recall if we have been following Will's appearance at the Oxford Student Union over here but RiffRaff on Devoted posted this link: http://pviktor.co.uk/p_viktor_/2008/10/mee...will-young.html This section particularly made me laugh  There is one thing more interesting than meeting a ‘celebrity’, and that is watching how other people respond when meeting said celebrity. The small room in which we were all gathered crackled for over half an hour with a strange anticipation. Every time the heavy wood door creaked open, people’s heads turned swiftly, only to spin back again in disgust when someone other than Will Young entered the room. The free wine that had been laid out for us was being consumed at rather a conspicuous rate. Free drink is always the nirvana of students, but this was on a different level. Dutch courage filled every wine glass in the room. After thirty-five minutes of waiting a distinct irritation began to punctuate the air, with some almost on the verge of anger that he might not even show up. What was also noticeable was how dapper everyone looked. The usual jeans and t-shirt combo that is the uniform of students was replaced with very revealing dresses (as if), eye-catchingly stylish jackets (guilty your honour), and in some cases pink corduroy. When Will Young was finally shepherded into the room there was a collective catching of breath. Then something very interesting happened. Those desperate to meet him seemed to shift, crab-like, across the room so that he would encounter them first. He was almost immediately pounced upon at a time when his utmost concern was for someone to get him a drink. A few groups appeared to hog his attention, rather selfishly, so that the tension in the room became more and more palpableMarilyn on the O/S posted this and I entirely agree - couldn't have put it better myself: from the report of the evening Will's very presence at the debate and the description of everyone's reaction to him says everything about the cult of celebrity in 2008 without Will having to say a word. He didn't have to do anything to prove any points he was making in his speech, validation of anything he would have said was proved 100% by everyone reaction to him. A raaction from people who probably wouldn't describe themselves as fans and whose sole purpose for being at that debate that particular night as because Will was there, a "celebrity" who, by the sound of things, just his presence sent grown men and women into a frenzy and caused them to behaviour in a way totally out of character thus completely proving his point.
