That person who posted on twitter yesterday looks like a DJ ...if so that's 2 of the rumours that have come from DJ's

Julie on D says he's removed yesterday's twitter now, perhaps he spoke out of turn do you think? :(

Well the other DJ that was supposed to have mentioned it on Magic FM denied it a few hours later :naughty:

That's good :D

I wonder if this is a one off summer gig, all proceeds going to the Mood foundation.

So, two DJ's have hinted about a tour. To be honest, I can't see how he cannot do one. With c.d sales being so precarious for all artists, Will and others have got to get out there and do it live I think.

Have you seen how many arena's Cliff Richard is doing. He rarely troubles the charts, only his diehards seem to buy his music now, but boy, can he ever sell out a live concert. :D

Thanks Sunday, that was a swift name change :D , I think he got some queries after that tweet, realised he was mentioning stuff that wasn't for public consumption yet, and deleted it poste haste. (That's my hopeful theory. :D )

I'm sure DJs get the nod about what's coming up in their city, them and the media must have so many contacts where they get info from. :D

Maybe that's why we haven't had our tickets yet - they may be waiting to see how many they can shift and then print them in one go...... so long as they don't wait too long it's only two months away. I can't see his name on there though only the presenters and when I put his name in the search box it threw up a lot of Ians but not him

Lovely piccy of Will

Thanks Sunday ..... oh you changed back again

I wasn't aware that Tweeter was a DJ - I thought it may have been someone who saw an old advert. In that case I'm quietly excited

Geeting more excited reading this. It's someone who should be in the know. Hoping for opening night there too.

Welcome back Sunday. It's a bit easier to type than BYM+M's.

There was a little tiny mention of Will yesterday in the Daily Mail. (Don't blame me - my fella takes the rag!!!) It was about those attending at Chelsea and the words "the singer Will Young" was one of them.

Will Young and Liverpool's Joe McGann to become LIPA companions

May 22 2009 by Laura Davis, Liverpool Daily Post

SINGER Will Young and actor Joe McGann are among a list of showbiz stars who will receive special recognition from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.

They will be named LIPA “companions” by Sir Paul McCartney during the organisation’s graduation ceremony held at the Philharmonic Hall in July.

Also receiving companionships will be casting director Pippa Ailion, choreographer Natricia Bernard, theatre designer Richard Hudson and community theatre expert John Fox.

Companions are selected from people in the music and arts industries who have had previous involvement with LIPA.

Many of them have held master classes for students of Liverpool’s Mount Street fame school.

Will Young gave a talk there earlier this year when he visited Liverpool to perform a concert at the neighbouring Philharmonic Hall.

LIPA director Mark Featherstone-Witty said: “I discovered his MD for that particular show was one of our graduates, which I was very pleased about.

“We invited Will to take part in one of our question and answer sessions and he was a really lovely man.”

One companion is chosen for each of the disciplines taught at LIPA.

Actress Prunella Scales and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber were invited to join the prestigious list but were unable to attend this year’s ceremony.

Mr Featherstone-Witty said: “When we were beginning LIPA I was talking to Paul and we came up with the phrase ‘those who have achieved teaching those who want to’. That is what this is all about.

McGann, 51, the oldest of the Liverpool McGanns acting clan, is currently appearing in Lost Monsters, which opened last night at the Everyman Theatre.

Last year’s companions included actor John Hurt CBE and Grammy Award winner Cathy Dennis
