Thanks munchkin and sunday.

Youtube..

[Will Young is an amazing artist in that his songs tend to be very raw and heartfelt; very personal. It also comes across in his live performances.

Can't say the same about many of the artistes out there today - so whilst he may not be classic U2 or Michael Jackson etc, he has developed a style all his own. You can instantly recognise a Will Young song when you hear one, and it resonates with you & your emotions. That, I think, already means he is special.

Cheers! /quote]

Wonderful isn't it? :D

Yes it is SWF, I love reading posts like that one, it certainly makes up for some of the other mindless cretins who post terrible remarks over there, on the majority of artists videos.

Thanks SWF - totally agree with those comments...... but then I would wouldn't I  - .

Did you enjoy the X Factor last week? The live audience thing left us a bit cold (we are assured it gets better though!) and I couldn't bloody stand Daniel with a WHY.

Anyway, you may have noticed Cheryl praying that she was his mentor. Well, guess what – she is. She got the boys (Sorry Lulu) and has whisked them off to Marrakesh along with Will Young, who's helping her decide on her final three.

Looks like I may have to start watching.

I just saw that news on twitter :D

Cole recruits Young for The X Factor

(Friday August 28, 2009 10:34 AM)

Pop star Will Young is set to make his comeback to reality TV - Cheryl Cole has recruited his expertise for the final audition round of The X Factor.

Young, who shot to fame after taking home the Pop Idol crown in 2002, will make an appearance on an upcoming episode of the singing contest, aiding Cole in selecting her final three contestants.

Cole, who last year called on her Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh for help, is rumoured to be mentoring the 16-24 year old males after producers made her in charge of the boys category.

The brunette beauty recently boarded a jet with Young and the stars whisked away their hopefuls to sunny Marrakesh, Morocco for the final "judges' house" stage, reports HolyMoly.com.

Cole, whose own rise to stardom is thanks to TV competition Popstars: The Rivals, won the X Factor last year with her contestant Alexandra Burke.

I have just seen this on twitter posted 1 hour ago  which one is true or are both true :P

On plane to lisbon. Delayed. Sat next to will young though. He's sleeping!

Thanks Sunday.

He's a proper little jet setter. :) Wonder what he's doing in Lisbon, work or pleasure? If it's true.

Thanks TT and sunday - just been reading this over the road. Will impressed Simon last year. Maybe he'll take the opportunity to have a little holiday while he's there.

Lisbon's the capital of Portugal isn't it - wonder what he's doing there.

After watching last week's I'd decided not to bother watching it again  - but he won't be on till later in the series - they are still doing auditions.

Will boost for Cheryl

Published: Today

EX-Pop Idol Will Young helped Cheryl Cole pick her X Factor finalists, TV Biz can reveal.

Will, 30, went to Morocco to help cut down the list.

Cheryl, 26, made her mark last year in her first series when her singer Alexandra Burke won.

This year she has the 16 to 25-year-old boys, while Dannii Minogue will travel to Dubai today with her big sister Kylie to choose her 16 to 25-year-old girl finalists.

Next week Simon Cowell will pick his final over-25 list in Los Angeles, while Louis Walsh will choose the final groups in Tuscany.

DUANE Lamonte, 23 - rejected from 2008's boot camp - says he is in the "right frame of mind" to win this year's show.

Thanks to Julie.
