My rank from best to worst having listened to each one;

1. Chemical Brothers - Swoon - love this, shame it's completely gone under the radar for them as a comeback single :( Their best in years imo.

2. Lissie/Ellie - Everywhere I Go - very good, although I'm strongly considering sending a song by Ellie this month :o Live in Brighton? Shame I missed her.

3. Dom - Burn Bridges

4. Dom - Living In America

5. Seraphim Suite - Heart

6. St Vincent - Actor Out Of Work

all six are contenders for points from me actually, great selection this month :D

Thanks for commenting! I love The Chemical Brothers ! 'Swoon' is fabulous, i'm quite gutted it's not done well at all ;(

Yeah, I saw you had Ellie reserved (¬_¬) haha! :P - Which Ellie song are you considering? :o - She's back in Brighton in November. She is very very good live !

I'm leaning towards Seraphim Suite atm, with their 2004 #45 smash hit ! ^_^

It's a gorgeous song, and it's live ! I'll see if Rich unreserves her! aha! ^_^

Did you listen to the other songs? ;o

They're hit and miss for me, they've had some real classics over the year (Hey Boy, Hey Girl springs to mind ) but some of their stuff I don't care for at all.

One of her demos called Not Following, but revamped with Eurovision winner Lena Meyer-Landrut as a duet. Loving it  My most likely entry at the moment, the other songs/artists I have reserved are backups to be honest.

Never heard of that Seraphim Suite song before, and to say it's from 2004 - I wouldn't know it so it clearly hasn't dated at all!

Did you listen to the other songs? ;o

Haha, yes. But I was so overwhelmed by the live performance that I didn't post them.

In order of preference:

Ellie Goulding & Lissie - Everywhere I Go (live)

St. Vincent - Actor Out Of Work

Seraphim Suite - Heart

The Chemical Brothers - Swoon

Dom - Burn Bridges

Dom - Living In America

Any of those songs except the last one has chances of getting some points from me, actually.

Yeah, I really like them! Such a good dance act.

Ooh, I love Not Following as a demo (obviously as it's Ellie, she could sing bah bah black sheep and I'd love it) I haven't heard it with Lena though. ;o

Yeah, I adore this song, I completely forgot about and I've played it loads the last month or so! <3

Haha! It's quite amazing <3

:o That's a first! That you actually like the first selection of songs I come up with :P thanks for listening!

!

The production's a beefed up version of the demo but otherwise no different, Lena sings the verses and they both sing the chorus and other bits of the song, I love it as a solo (and am quite annoyed it didn't make the album actually :arrr: ) but it's gorgeous as a duet and I haven't sent anything subtle for a while, I always go for songs with big choruses, so maybe the 'host entry' is the ideal time to send something a bit more chilled and laidback.

Having a nightmare uploading it to video sharing sites though, it keeps getting instantly blocked or deleted :(

Indeed.

I just hope that not everything will be reversed and you will actually send a song that I hate now.

Ooh I see! Well, I love the demo, so I look forward to hearing this version.! Although I'm not OVERLY keen on Lena, but she's alright ^_^

Aha! I think I'm pretty set on going with one of these songs. ^_^

I love Lena  Ellie less so, but they both work well on this song I think, definitely in the chorus at least where they compliment each other nicely.

If I don't end up sending it, I'll upload it somewhere anyway and give you a link.

Sounds good! I'm still obsessed with Ellie tbh ! Should hopefully be going to see her in November (the third time within 12 months)

Ah thanks, that'd be great! :D

FeFe Dobson 'Ghost'

Wynter Gordon 'Bigger Than You'

Wynter Gordon 'Slave' (could only find a snippet, will upload full one later)

Sky Ferreira 'One'

Opinons pleaseee! ^_^

Poppier choices than usual for BaNG!

Heard One and Ghost before and found them ok but nothing more. Of the two Wynter tracks, Bigger Than You sounds far more my sort of thing.

Yeah, I try and change genre each month. ^_^ I don't really think my country has a specific genre we send  This month is looking like it'll be pop!

I'm leaning mostly to one of the Wynter songs, just need to upload the whole of 'Slave'!

FeFe Dobson - Ghost - Nice and catchy but most likely not enough for points.

Wynter Gordon - Bigger Than You - She seems to have a good voice but the song isn't good.

Wynter Gordon - Slave - I like this even less judging from this part. ;)

Sky Ferreira - One - Your second best song but still not that good. Looks like I'm not a fan of the songs you consider sending again.

I didn't think you'd be much of fan of any of these songs! (as usual with my first choices) :P

Yeah, can't wait to see what you end up actually sending to the contest.
