June 2, 200619 yr Hi Just seen this exciting news over on .net. He has been asked to return for a short stint as Billy Flynn. I will definately be going to see him No dates confirmed yet, but exciting anyway, whoohooo!!!! Isn't this great news!!!!! :yahoo: I've just been trying to get through to the Cambridge Theatre but all I got was the 'Les Miserables' booking line!! Just as well really, 'cos when I went back on .net Rachael said D is still awaiting to confirm dates. I notice Chicago is not in the top ten bestsellers at the moment, so we should be able to get tickets :D The show will definitely be back near the top of the list in 2/3 weeks time  Can't wait!!! Look forward to seeing everyone again!!!! :yahoo: Julie
June 2, 200619 yr Author Won't it be fantastic I hope we bump into each other again julie ;) Thanks to Rachel from .net for allowing me to post this message from darius over here :) To all of the gang, You may have heard a rumour recently about me performing in a certain musical. Chicago have invited me back to reprise the role of Billy Flynn on the West End and until now I've been too busy to be able to do it. However, I can now confirm that I'm returning for a limited three week run from mid June to early July and can't wait to perform for you! Thank you for all your lovely messages and message board chat (I do drop in to see if you're still missing me!) I hope you and all your family's are well. I can't wait to see you in an audience (or at a stage door) soon!" Big hugs and much love, Darius x
June 2, 200619 yr Author Anyone know how much the tickets are at the Cambridge Theatre? Rachel suggested they were more expensive than the Adelphi, does anyone know?

June 2, 200619 yr Author I know we haven't any confirmed dates yet, but there are some tickets available at a discount from this link http://www.thisistheatre.com/tickets.html It might be worth buying one or two just in case he is in at the end of the month as it states I am very tempted :)

June 2, 200619 yr Author I wonder who Roxie will be (lucky thing) Yes, isn't Bonnie Langford playing her at the moment? Is Brenda playing Mama Morton at the moment still? It will be interseting to see who appears with Darius :) But better than this, it will be great to meet D at the stage door again :)
June 2, 200619 yr Yes it says she finishes on the 17th, but she might stay longer especially when she hears Darius is coming back :D
June 2, 200619 yr Author Yes it says she finishes on the 17th, but she might stay longer especially when she hears Darius is coming back :D Surely she will stay on! She has only been in it for a few weeks :o Then again, they may only pay one celebrity price tag for the show and Darius won't be appearing for nothing
June 2, 200619 yr Author Of course, and if it is just this little stint, it won't interupt with other projects he may have coming up :)
June 3, 200619 yr The box office says he playing from the 17th June until the 8th July. I hope they are right as I have tickets. The booking office phoned through to the theatre for me. Meg
