July 30, 200817 yr oh a very difficult one... i nearly voted for monsoon for a change, but stand and deliver IS the better track.
July 30, 200817 yr Monsoon - Ever So Lonely was a great single. They were a British Indian act which featured gorgeous singer Sheila Chandra. Sheila was also an actress and just before they formed Monsoon she was in TVs Grange Hill. The follow-up Shakti (The Meaning Of Within) was also a hit but less successful peaking at #41 I have their album Third Eye. Dance act Jakatta did a cover of Ever So Lonely - titled So Lonely was a Top 10 hit a few years ago. I didn't even watch the video to vote for it. It beats Stand & Deliver by miles. Edited July 30, 200817 yr by Euro Music
July 30, 200817 yr I love them both - but Monsoon for me - it's timeless...a really, really brilliant single. I've got the 7" somewhere :o
