August 1, 200816 yr It's good to see Brett back and all, but I'm really not sold on this whole albums being sold on USB sticks idea... Just sounds a bit gimmicky and cr@p.... Although, respect for the free download... Dunno why Brett just doesn't sell the whole album online instead of going with the rather silly USB stick idea.... Five or six quid for an album online, with the art as well.... Cuts out the middle-man, and Brett keeps all the profit....
August 1, 200816 yr Author A Different Place will be made available as a free download on 21st July through digital stores and then on 29th July the album will be made available though all digital stores. I-tunes have a special exclusive on the same day - a bonus track called Symmetry. All digital stores will carry the album artwork which includes a full colour 12 page lyrics booklet. Again photography by Allan Jenkins, design by Brett and Paul Khera. The physical CD will be a beautiful digipak, again with the lyrics booklet and will be available from 4th August through indie stores (more details later of where you will be able to pre-order and buy) and then the album will go on general release in all record shops from the 1st September. In support of the release, there will be a short tour of key cities in the UK and some European dates. http://www.brettanderson.co.uk/
