Don't know whether this has been posted before, but I've just managed to get into OS, and this was on the home page. Don't even know whether this is the right place to put it  :-

More Let it Go News!Let It Go is Will’s most personal album to date with him experimenting with various genres from disco, soul and funk to orchestral chamber pop.

Says Will of the new album, ‘I tried to focus on what I do really well. I wanted to simplify. I concentrated on lyrics, melodies and voices; where the listener feels like they are in the room with the singer, you can really hear every last breath.’

He co-wrote the single, ‘Changes’ and the delicate title track, ‘Let It Go’ with Eg White as well as ‘I Won’t Give Up’, which was mixed by the Freemasons.

He says of the single, ‘Changes’, ‘This is one of my most personal songs. I was in a bit of a rut and I didn’t even know it. Writing about the changes I needed to make actually helped me get out of a situation where I felt trapped by my own actions. That really is songwriting as therapy!’

Will has also continued his partnership with long-time producer Steve Lipson on ‘Tell Me The Worst’ and ‘Love’ while other producers include Richard ‘Biff’ Stannard, Ash Howe, Mike Spencer (Queen, Jamiroquai, Kylie) and Robot Club (Massive Attack).

Me too :cheer: - found the channel just as the Kooks video one was finishing  . Nice to hear them say that Changes was the highest climber. :yahoo: That song of LL is being played to death on Heart.

Incidentally it was the same petrol station that I know. To think Will's stood where I might have stood.

Loved the video

Very dark, very Will and thought it fitted well with the song. Didn't like him burning though  When I was young I read a sort of 'strange but true' story book and there was an article about spontaneous human combustion. I used to worry about my family all the time. I thought that I would come home from school and there would be just a scorch mark and just my dad's foot by his chair

I did laugh when the lightening struck him though

I hope it's uploaded on Youtube quickly for overseas fans ^_^

Found it while I was looking for his performance on V festival, which I missed

Thanks so much for putting that vid up F/G. I set my video for all the right times, and what happened - either my video's time is slow, or C.4 put it on early - as I only got the end bit. :banghead: :banghead:

V Festival - hope someone puts that up as I've lost that too. :(

Thank you so much for the link!!

I love it! Wonder if the video is not a bit too dark though, I mean for general audience...

Thanks sunday, that's a bit better quality I think, the version of Changes that's running with the video isn't the radio edit though, it must be the album version? I actually prefer the one they're playing on the radio, it's faster and more livlier in the middle and at the end.

It probably is Bertie. But Will's videos ,with the possible exception of perhaps WAI, reflect the mood of the song. It is a dark moody song all about someone down on their luck, but it does come right in the end because the sun breaks through the clouds and he gets up.

Don't expect a run-of-the-mill video from Will..... ever :P

It always was scheduled for 12.55 on Channel 4 according to the various listings mags.

I have got it all I am glad to say. And the acoustic version from V. Plus one of the interviews.

Changes on Perez Hilton's site.

The clip is very cinematic - it's great - and the song has a mature, almost Simply Red vibe to it. We likes!
