Thanks for the latest info, up to no4 on airplay is great and the other charts are bound to ease off a little just before

release, there's loads of new big songs been added to the playlists this week. I'm sure he'll do quite well with the single and

very well with the album.

I'd forgotten about Ken Bruce and Album of the Week :rolleyes: but I was just cleaning out my car (I'm getting another one later to-day), put Radio 2 on and heard this wonderful voice. Took me a minute or two to realise it was Will singing Who I Am, and then Ken Bruce confirmed it at the end. It really is beautiful. Apart from Changes, it's the only one I've heard from the album, and if that's anything to go by no wonder the music critics are stepping over themselves to be enthusiastic.

 

And I'm really a very bad fan - just can't keep up with things the last week. :rolleyes:

It was Won't Look Down Chrysalis. :D It didn't instantly grab me like Grace and Changes I'll have to listen again. Apparently Janice Long has played Simple Philosophy and Tell Me the Worst - but she's on in the early hours so haven't heard them. I'm reluctant to Listen Again as I really want to hear the songs new when I have the album.

I wondered if I'd got the wrong title when I looked over on D. Could have sworn I heard the words Who I Am, but whatever, it was about 11.10. this morning. I know it was about that time, as the garage rang just after to say they hadn't got the tax for the new car, but would get it for tomorrow. :rolleyes:

Just had a phone call from my fella who said he had just heard on Radio2 that Will Young will be in Ken Bruce show this morning. :cheer: Obviously now well trained. :lol:

Just to confirm that the show is live from 0930 today and is from Maida Vale, Will is doing 5 tracks - we are filming the session and will be putting the video online as soon as possible after each track. We hope to have the first video online well before the end of the show at midday, and aim to have all five tracks live by early afternoon.
