August 19, 200816 yr Thanks TT. Will Facing a Career Crisis What career crisis is that I wonder?
August 19, 200816 yr He is featured in the Olympic party article in the Radio Times today. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v317/GillP/Olympic.jpg
August 19, 200816 yr Pity JB isn't still around. :( Presumably you mean James Blunt. I for one am delighted that he isn't around.
August 19, 200816 yr Author Presumably you mean James Blunt. I for one am delighted that he isn't around. I think chrysalis meant James Brown Pearl.

August 19, 200816 yr So happy he is doing this :w00t: What did she say Munchkin ? Sorry I've only just got back on this Sunday - only just seen it. She wasn't being nasty or anything she just said how much she wished it was her singing with him and was envious that Will got there first. Thanks TT. What career crisis is that I wonder? I don't think it's a crisis as such Chrysalis - it's just he wants to run his two passions in tandem but it's difficult in the UK to do this, whereas that type of career is more readily accepted in the US. He mentioned how much he loved the US - hope he doesn't desert us in order to do what he loves best. Thanks for all the lovely press bits girls Edited August 19, 200816 yr by munchkin
August 19, 200816 yr I think maybe Will feels more comfortable and less stressed in America? There's the press always hanging around every street corner when he's in London, mind you, it could get even worse in America who knows? I think Will's probably looking forward to the day when he can retire or when the media get fed up with him, which ever comes first.

There seems to be a lot here that he holds dear & he is the quintessential englishman after all. I think his escaping to Cornwall keeps him sane.
August 20, 200816 yr Thanks for all the snippets ladies :cheer: Can't wait to see him  Will probably have to sit through hours of sh!te first but he's wotrh it :P

August 20, 200816 yr Author Best news I've heard all month  Thanks Pearl :P As long as they don't cut his set & we get both songs. It's BBC afterall.

August 20, 200816 yr He seems to have been the "face of the party" in all the advertising and promo so I think he will be singing both songs. I don't think there will be headliners as such. They have all the sportsmen and women to fit in as well.
August 20, 200816 yr myspace update Wednesday, August 20, 2008 Will to perform at Olympic event To mark the official day that London becomes the new host city for the 2012 Olympic games, the BBC and the organisers are staging a major live event in front of Buckingham Palace this weekend. Will will be there to perform two tracks – I Can See Clearly Now and his new single Changes - for the packed crowd which is expected to be 70,000 strong. TV coverage will air the same day, on the BBC Satellite and Cable One at 15:00 and 21:00.
August 20, 200816 yr Thanks Sunday. That wasn't there when I looked this morning. So "I Can See Clearly" has been confirmed. It was really odd. When I read about his second song in the Daily Star over on D yesterday I had R2 on and that song came on - but it was Jimmy Cliff from the film Cool Runnings. . :o Edited August 20, 200816 yr by munchkin

For some reason I've forgotten all about the acting. Yes I see it would be easier in the US. It would be great if he could follow both passions in the UK, but the British press are such guttersnipes....... I don't think he'll desert the UK, but, after all the promo and tours for the new album, he may very well spend extended periods of time in the US if he really feels it necessary.
