Well they're finally releasing a DVD of their gig! :D There were rumours about the DVD release being of from the LCC from last summer, but it's from the gig at the Apollo last December. It's out of November 3rd 2008 and will be avaliable from all good music outlets i'd have thought, as well as lots of trading sites on the internet! :D A good Christmas present i'm sure you'll all agree. :heehee:

Arctic Monkeys are set to release a live DVD, 'Arctic Monkeys At The Apollo', on November 3.

 

The DVD was filmed at the Sheffield band's gig at the Manchester Apollo on December 17 last year, the last date of their world tour.

 

It is directed by 'The Mighty Boosh' and 'The IT Crowd' actor Richard Ayoade, who has also directed music videos for Vampire Weekend.

 

The film will be screened in various Vue and independent cinemas across the UK on October 14 - see Arcticmonkeys.com for cinema listings and ticket details.
