I doubt that would be much competition though.

To be honest I think she's pretty much got it in the bag this year - I don't think Dido will do overly well with a new album :unsure:

If Coldplay can't then I don't see anybody else doing it - no matter how big they may be.

Most of the acts in that list are overated and bland anyway bar The Killers but just my opinion.

200k (ish) at the moment. I think it unlikely that Coldplay will take over, but its more of an option that some listed :P

To be honest, I can't see Take That's album being ready by December (even though that was the plan). I think it'll be a new year release.

 

Surely Robbie Williams is due to release something soon, isn't there a swing album in the pipeline? I'm sure he'd outsell anyone.

Yeh but coldplay really played around with their singles or non singles really and i think put their whole into the start of the campaign. I think it will sell well for a while but i think it will fall down with duffy and therefore never over take her.

 

One a side note, i think VLV is one of the best songs in years and years.

I think Coldplay are the only opposition to Duffy. She'll sell well continutally really, and Coldplay will do quite well too. I think a lot of it will go on what promo they do around Xmas time, I mean what happens if one of them goes on X-Factor or something? Just look at what that did to Leona and Take That's sales for example (the same could be said for any of the other acts really). But maybe The Killers could be the dark horses... I think it's too hard to tell until they've released some of their new material tbh, and again, the same goes for most acts.

I think take that,oasis dido and coldplay cud all well take over however all of them have a disadvantage( well maybe not coldplay) ut dido oasis and take that are due to release albums at year end so they wont have enough time by year end to beat her on sales however move forward 2 years later and all of them cud outsell her with the albums they atre about to release

Oasis release in about 5 weeks so not that long really
