I recognise that Canned Heat song from an advert, but I can't think for the life of me which advert it's from. Something about it is telling me it's some sort of bank or insurance company but that's what most adverts are about it seems. :lol:

The second deliberately very very vague Semi Final update:

 

After 10 sets of votes from SF1 & 11 sets of votes from SF2:

 

There are a total of six songs that still have less than 10 points including one song that still has zero points.

 

One Semi Final currently contains 3 songs that are running away with their Semi & therefore are already as good as qualified for the Final.

 

In contrast the other Semi Final is currently ridiculously tight with less than 30 points separating 1st to 17th!

I think semi 2 is the one with three runaway songs - Simondly, Bhangra and Ojnoj...

Very disappointed that I cannot vote for Sandra's Hiroshima, I really do hope that it will qualify (and then get very high marks from me in the final). As for Land of Jack's own Star Pilots, I do think it is very catchy summer song but probably will be disliked by many (thou I do have high hopes with one dude who I do think will love the track just like I like his track and probably give my full points to that song). Well, next time LOJ will be back rocking with Apocalyptica or something like that. And since I am pretty much always the last to vote I am going to vote tonight well ahead of the deadline after some hangover sleep and a few beers.

This is the beauty of the competition, there are songs in the other Semi (SF2) that I would have liked to have voted for & will vote for if they make the final, but of course they might fail to reach the Final.

I'm among all the pop tracks, I wish I was in the other semi final :cry:

As usual I have my top points sorted out, but I'm struggling to give my last three points. I can't really rank them, about 6 songs are all about equal to me.

My country name was spelt wrong in the Recap video :( it said B.a.N.K instead of B.a.N.G.. Anywwaaays good video :D

Each Semi Final currently contains 3 songs that have as good as booked their places for the Final. Whilst both Semi Finals currently have a 21 point spread between 4th & 17th.

I have justed voted. It was weird, I had my top 2 songs sorted, my bottom 4 and the middle 4 - but I didn't know what order to place the songs in each group. The fight for my 12 was harsh and I feel bad for who I awarded the points to, it was so un-me. My 8-5 could have been in any order, so I just ordered them how I felt at the time - if I voted again it'd probably be in a different order, the same for my 3-1.

 

I'd have listened to the songs again but I've already listened to the 10 songs 3-5 times each, which is about 1-2 times more than normal. I just hope I don't regret it and a song I liked misses out by a few points.
