The album will be a hit whether the single is $h!t or not, i mean Sugababes have a Top 10 album with whatever they will release now. So the Album is definately going Top 10 (I dont know who theyre up against yet, with it being the big Autumn Battles etc...)

Well, I´ve listened now and I don´t think it´s that bad actually... I haven´t seen the advert cause I don´t like in the UK.

This record is a definite grower I think, I mean I really wasnt keen on Freak Like Me, but some of their records that haven't hit me straight away, but this one did, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

 

And lets face it, between the 'Babes and GA, they are doing pop music that is catchy, inventive and downright amazing, I love this song so much, I may have to let it chart in ym Personal chart very very very soon

 

Just give 'Girls' a chance to those who have dismissed it, I bet if they get an amazing video to go with it, than most people will be in love with it, and I'm praying this gets to number 1, they deserve all the success they get cos I do think they are the greatest girl group of the decade if not ever, ok maybe too much loving but you know what i mean :lol:

Just becase an album goes top 10, doesn't mean it's a hit. Positions mean nothing and sales mean everything, this is especially true for an act like the Sugababes.

 

I do think this album will get the fanbase top 3 debut, but will be one of those albums that will really need a magic second single to revive it.

^^ i agree, its gona all be about the 2nd single.

Its grown a tiny amount on me not to hate it, but i still say they've gone insane and it needs to be changed right away. The 2nd single must be good or the entire era is a failure.

But if the single is awful then the album will drop like a stone and even if it debuted at #1 it could still flop.

TBH I don't think they can do a flop album at the moment.

 

Girls is a bit strange for me at first listen but it'll be a hit for sure!

They will defintly turn it round with a second single , The decison to bring the album out now in my opinion was rushed but i do think that it will sell mainly because it's being realised ten weeks before Christmas and if it was realised Next March it might not have sold that well that's just my opinion.

I am really liking it alot more now!

That´s so true... Mariah´s Glitter and Victoria Beckham´s album are 2 examples of albums that went top 10, but finished with total sales around 50,000...

Its probably most requested because people never heard it before and the Sugababes have a big fan base so theyre gonna get Top 10 mostt requested virtually straight away, just like, I imagine, Oasis, Madonna, Girls Aloud, Kylie & Britney Deifnately!

I REALLY wanted to like this but I can't.

 

Only a few days I was thinking to myself how much that Boots advert bloody irritated me, and then this!

It's a shame because until this, the Sugababes had only featured on one truly awful record, Walk This Way, and with that I could just blame the influence of Girls Aloud and Comic Relief.

don't like the single Girls

Girls seems to be growing quite rapidly on people now, from what I can see. This time next month I just know the majority will love it. :D It's so good to see them step outside their safety zone too.
