Hi :) Just thought I would start a thread to discuss when people were thinking of going down to see D at the Cambridge theatre, and then later the performances and meeting D etc.

I am thinking of going down on Friday 7th and Sat 8th of July, and maybe popping up a couple of times on day trips before then. What about you guys? :)

At the moment, possible dates are 17/6 (if that is his first day), 24/6 and 8/7  I'm not sure how many of us there will be on each occasion as Wendy and I are still waiting for friends to confirm. Neil has also said he would like to see the show again, so I may be 'forced' to see it yet again!! It's great to have something to look forward to, isn't it!! :yahoo:

It'll have to be somewhere between Thurs 6th to Sat 8th July for me.

I'm tempted to squeeze in the 17th but we're not dead certain it will be Darius and it's very tight before I go away.

The Cambridge is not as close to Victoria as the Adelphi. I might not be able to make the overnight bus before it leaves. It was touch and go before, so probably too risky.

Certainly is  Hope to see you all on the 8th if I make it :)

I am looking at the 24th (I can get cheaper tickets) or the 1st july.

I cant make the 8th as Andrew is in a gala, this happened last time but I must put my children 1st.

Am feeling great - have just booked for D's last performance on 8/7. There will be 6 of us coming together but we will be there from about 2p.m. so we can see D and sign the BBC. Look forward to seeing everyone there!! CAN'T WAIT :yahoo:

I've been procrstinating as usual but I will get round to getting my ticket and booking everything else. I'll meet up with you too. Did someone say the Dial(s) bar was just opposite the theatre?
Thanks, megham. Could you please cast your eye over it on the 17th and let us know if you think it would be a good place to meet up ?

I will - I'll need my free cocktail anyway

I can't believe we will get to see D again in just over a week's time :yahoo:

Thanks Meg :) Can you say why you will need your free coctail, or is it private? :)

Because I have a ticket for one. Actually, me and alcahol don't really mix - a family trait, one drink and it goes straight to our heads.

I am nearly sure they will have a non-alcoholic option available Meg, if that's what you would prefer :) Have you received a voucher with your tickets, for the free coctail?

I have. It'll be good if they do have a non-alcaholic version as my Mum is even worse than me. I'm taking her on the anniversary of my Dad's death. It may sound weird but she loved the show and it'll take her mind of it. She was just 50 when he died and still missed him like mad.

She says D reminds her of Cary Grant.
