The one's in the green T shirt were going in and the white T shirt was after the performance he arrived about 20 minutes to 3 just had time for a couple of photo's before I went in.

Had a fabulous time over Friday and Saturday :yahoo: Lovely to meet up with so many familiar faces and one or two new ones too :)

 

Darius was again magnificent as Billy Flynn

 

I can't believe how giving and friendly our man is. Taking time he doesn't have, to make sure we are all happy and get pics and sigs etc :) I loved him talking quietly to little old me :yahoo: He was also kind enough to write some lyrics on some very large pics for me. Then to cap it all, he got three pictures signed for me by the lovely Natasha, who made a surprise appearance :wub: What a fantastic man he is, it's an honour to be a fan of his :)

Great couple of days. Thanks to everyone who made it such fun.

 

The show itself has just got better and better each time I've seen it. Every time I think Darius is at the top of his performance, he moves up a gear and adds more. I think at the Cambridge he has been allowed to inject more of himself into his role.

 

Perhaps at the Adelphi he was trying to give the role greater gravitas because everyone including himself was aware that he was very young for the part. With experience behind him even as early as mid-December it was clear most people had accepted him as BF and he was able to play it with a lighter touch.

 

At the Cambridge his BF was light years away from November 21st. I am so glad I got back from hols just in time to make it down to London to see Darius.

It was lovely to see you again BT :) But I will have to stop you wanting to roam around very late at night in London on your own :D

 

I noticed in another thread on here someone posted about liking D's smile :) This was on Friday night :)

You're such a gentleman, B.P. Thank you for your concern. I'm sorry I can't make you a promise about that. I'd probably just break it anyway. I am always very aware of my own safety. I've been a big city girl all my life and I've always been very independent, going where I want and doing what I want whenever I choose, night or day.

 

You know I'm a sucker for smiling Darius and more so for that open laugh of his - you can't capture that for me with a camera unfortunately. Thank you for being there to snap him in costume. Thank goodness for hot nights and open stage doors! :dance:

 

I hope you don't mind if I download some of your photos onto my computer.

 

My only regret about Chicago is that the only record I have of it other than photos posted by fans is a very short clip of D rehearsing, another of part of Reached for The Gun with Jenni Falconer and the live "All I Care About Is Love from This Morning. Other than those I have to rely on my memory. How I wish there was a cast CD or better a Dvd.

Is that a Freudian slip (or just my paranoia) in the Making of Live Twice on the Dvd version of the single?

 

He's describing the scene where he turns his back on material possessions and status - "We've got a bunch of f.....fans he adds after a slight pause. Maybe he just ran out of breath.

 

Joking apart, I love watching all the behind the scenes things and he's gorgeous and so gentle with the horse and the dove. Live Twice has different backing vocals and some minor melody changes on this version.

 

Also I've been lazy and only listened to Now Or Never on the PC or a burned CD for a while. I'd forgotten how fantastic it is in true CD quality. It's an forgiveable omission from the album, unless of course he wrote it after the album had gone to pressing or whatever they call it nowadays.
