Is anyone else a fan of rockabilly? I find myself listening to it more and more, from early Elvis and Gene Vincent to Psychobilly like Reverend Horton Heat, and even newer bands influenced by Rockabilly such as Vincent Vincent and the Villians and The Living End.

here are some of my favs:

Elvis Presley - Good Rockin Tonight

Gene Vincent - Be-Bop-A-Lula

Jerry Lee Lewis - Crazy Arms

Carl Perkins - Matchbox

Johnny Cash - Folsom Prison Blues

Duane Eddy - Rebel Rouser

..................

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Suzie Q

The Stray Cats - Rock This Town

Steve Earle - Goodbye's All We Got Left

---------------------

The Cramps - Human Fly

Reverend Horton Heat - Psychobilly Freakout

..........................

The Living End - Wake Up

Vincent Vincent and the Villains - Pretty Girl

Quite a broad definition of rockabilly if you're including CCR but there are some right good tunes in that selection.

not a genre im fond off, but i respect it as people obviously like it! good, rootsy music has its appeal.

i like 'buzz buzz a diddle dit'... lol... matchbox, 1980.

Could do worse than listen to Mark Lamarr's Shake Rattle and Roll on Radio 2 for some 50s rock n roll and rockabilly
