When is Shameless series 6 starting on tv??and does anyone know if there will definitly be a series 7 or is it depeneding on how series 6 does?

Depending on how Series 6 does in the ratings.

 

The cast are filming at the moment, and it will probs be on in January 2009.

The show has gone down the pan imo.

I actually think there is a series 7 confirmed and signed by C4.

Series Six will most likely be back on Tuesday 06 January , Series 5 ratings where okay still averaging over 2m viewers plus over 700,000, for first look episodes on E4.

id love is thats true coolnav as then there is a great chance of an 8th series,the ratings are also quiet good so its looking good

I would love to see this back, but I think the show is a bit strained with the many episodes. I mean most of the Gallagher clan have moved on, meaning the McGuires have took over (not that I mind Jamie ;)) Also I found the storyline with the copper and Debbie the young girl very creepy which shows the shows shine is wearing off.

 

Perhaps limit the series to eight episodes then just bring it back for the odd short run.
