Hmmm, I seem to recalll mentioning your bad start to Nicky so you're completely wrong there.

As for your O'Shea point, what c**p. Let's take Chelsea's situation last year and apply it to Man Utd. Unrest between manager and owner which lead to the manager being sacked and someone who wasn't a popular choice brought in taking an age to win over the fans, Cech, Terry, Carvalho, Essien, Lampard, Ballack and Drogba all out of first team action for what could be considered to be lengthy periods. Yet despite all this they came second to you in the League by only two points (and I'm sure it would've been just goal difference if they could've actually won the league on the final day) and on penalities on the Champions League.

They now have a new, more proven manager who's a popular choice with both players and fans, they currently have as good a full squad with only Drogba injured and Kalou on Olympic duty, they've sold no first team players apart from an ageing and past it Makelele and have signed Deco and Bosingwa, finally someone of quality to play at right back which has definitely been their weakest area for a while. Compare this to Man Utd who have their star player from the last two campaigns out for the first month and have lost (and as far as I'm aware yet to replace) the extremelly influential Carlos Quieroz (remember how much worse you got last time he left leaving you without a number two?) and have yet to make any improvement to the squad. I cannot see past Chelsea at all.

And also Manchester United have the added distraction of the World Club Championships in December, and the fact their best player compared himself to being a slave before doing a U-turn. Whilst the likes of Giggs, Scholes & G. Neville are getting towards retirement and are past their peak.

Whilst a lot of Chelsea players will be highly motivated due to their rivals just pipping them last season in the League & in Europe then they have that extra motivation to ensure that hurt does not happen again.

Personally, I think this season will be rather boring with Chelsea comfortably wrapping up the Premiership Title with a couple of games to spare with Man United comfortably ahead of their nearest rivals in second.

We don't have a c**k of a chairman who's bought a team with NO history, we're Manchester United

our strongest 11 >>>> Anyone's in the world, simple as, last season shows this

wtf does history have anything to do with the present season? If this were the case my team would walk the league we're in, but that'll be far from the case...

because you brought up their manager situation

so i said the fact that their club is a farce, and they only have manager problems because the chairman has spent so much that he can't afford not to win a cup

Our reserves are going to the WCC, Blatter's gone mad about it, but it's not a priority.

And as for 1st XIs, it's not about a first XI, it's about a squad. You don't win the leage with your first choice team, you win it with your squad. Chelsea have more strength in depth than anyone else, as proven by your bench today. A chelsea team with the same amount of players injured as Utd currently have would be much stronger than what United fielded today.

They hardly have manager problems at the moment though. That's in the past. They now have a manager who's motivated all the players and has all the fans behind him. The club may be a farce, they might not have got their success the right way, but that doesn't stop them being better.

Even still, it's what a week to 10 days away from England and the Premiership? It'll probably be another two games postponed adding to fixture congestion in the new year...

How are they even better?

ahahahahahah

you're so fickle, this is one game

next you'll be telling me Liverpool have finally turned that corner you've been trying to turn the past 18 years

Having spent about £500 in 4 seasons, i'm not shocked lol

Anyone would think you don't spend.... The players you used in the Champions League final cost you more than the players Chelsea used cost them...

wtf? do you actually read anything I put. I've already said I've been saying Chelsea will win the league for ages. Today has NOTHING to do with this opinion, I'd have been saying the same thing if you'd won 4-0 also!
