September 10, 200816 yr I can't find anything. I keep reading of a ship, a map and a flower but can't see any of them. Nor do I know what the question to ask the Oracle is in order to get her to reply with another question! I think I can help you there. To find the end-dwellers ship, think of the place where the end-dwellers live. Go to the respective site. And you might expect another round of Loxian to English translation to find the name of the flower that matches with that of the ship. Edited September 10, 200816 yr by Debargha
September 10, 200816 yr :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: I got the second lyric line :yahoo: I thought it was said in the Loxian games guidebook that the Oracle does not answer general questions, we need to be specific with what we ask her... I was getting increasingly frustrated with her "With this question... yada yada" you know what, so I tried a really foolish question, never expecting an answer, and behold, the answer comes in the most unexpected way !!! Go ahead everyone. Good luck P.S. Personal opinion: the first week's game was better; I found it more "logically solvable".
September 10, 200816 yr Well done Debargha. :D You can have a few days rest then now until the next riddle appears. :heehee:
September 10, 200816 yr Well done! I have now looked really closely in the Valleys and found the ship's name! I spotted it almost by accident after having been there about 10 times over the last two days! So I've made some progress at least.
September 11, 200816 yr Congratulations, Ben! Now, translate the name of the ship to the Loxian water script, and find the flower of the same name. I hope this helps. Good luck.
September 11, 200816 yr Congrats Debargha I have been a little off of the computer with the instalation of the Windows XP SP3 and with some problems of internet connection with that windows. Now I'm here,I hope to see you in msn. I'm happy that you found the name of the ship,it was in the ship I said to you??
September 12, 200816 yr I've been writing an essay for my Masters the last two nights so not done any more. I'm going to have a go tonight. I'm very grateful to Debarqha for the help given. :)
September 12, 200816 yr Well I've translated the name of the ship and I've found the flower. Now what????? God I am so useless at these games. I would never be able to work out things like ruffling pages and changing computer clocks. Have I got to do something bizarre now? I've asked the Oracle a question and he has replied with a question. Well I'm stuck once again. Should the tell button on the flower do anything? I was sure I'd just have to type the name of the ship into the tell box and all would be revealed. But no, it's far more bloody complicated than that.
September 12, 200816 yr Congratulations, Ben, for getting past the name of ship and flower part. The Oracle's question... "Are you *going* or are you *staying*" comes of use at a later part of the game. Now, think about your experience from solving week 1's riddle. What are the 'Tell' buttons for? What do you usually write in the textbox beside the 'Tell' button? That is what you need now. Your next step will be to ask the oracle exactly what you need. Be *very* specific with your question. The hints I can give you are: 1. Yes, the tell button in the flower page will reveal something provided you tell it the correct thing. 2. No, typing the name of the ship there won't do. You need to find something that goes in there. Keep trying, and good luck :teresa:
September 13, 200816 yr I've done it! I've got the green! Thanks yet again for your hints. I would never have known that the Oracle would answer such a general question. Once I figured out what to ask the Oracle I completed the rest of it in a few minutes. I'm going to try really hard in week three to master it on my own. But I'm really not good at this sort of thing and I'm impressed with the people who can work out these things without any hints or clues lol.
September 13, 200816 yr The question from the oracle threw me off too. I knew what it meant, but it didn't help me any. I finally decided that the question pertained to the first part of this part of the game (the part about using the second city website) though I didn't know how... but now I think Debargha's right, it is for the second part of the game. However, I didn't even need that question for the second part of the game because once I finally asked the right question (burn in hell, infernal oracle!) I went lickety-split to the green line. :D Now I feel like I just ate a canary. P.S. Personal opinion: the first week's game was better; I found it more "logically solvable". I agree with you, I found the first week easier. In fact, I think that this week is easier for people who don't speak english as their native language. It seems to me that all the native english-speakers have had a terrible time with this week. Also, phrasing, grammar, etc. aren't important when asking the blunt question, you just have to get the right words in there to get the answer. I've tried several different ways and they're all correct. I even left out all articles, and it still worked. ^_^
September 13, 200816 yr After discovered the green Lyric with help (thanks to her) I was able to create the Loxian Alphabet. There are two loxian scripts, the water and the rain, both uses differente symbols.
September 14, 200816 yr I am getting excited. May November 10th come real soon!!! And I am expecting that the next stage of the games will begin in another 12 hours. Congratulations, everyone, who've been able to solve the first two weeks' riddles. Good luck for the coming two weeks. I don't know if I'll be as lucky in them as I'd been so far... :P Edited September 14, 200816 yr by Debargha
September 14, 200816 yr I have been through all five websites relating to the Loxian Game. I have slowly and painstakingly written everything down. All the books, their contents, the Loxian writing, the English etc. I have pages of notes. I am determined to crack this week's one more quickly!
September 14, 200816 yr You sound pretty determined Ben. I wish I felt more motivated to do it, but none of it really makes any sense to me!
