Loxian Games news:

Folks,

You can now submit your solutions and tiebreakers to the first Loxian Games in the book of the lost lyric.

http://www.enya.com/interactive.php

You can enter as many submissions as you like, however only one correct answer per person will be judged. So, you can enter 300 different tiebreakers and assuming you have the lyric lines, only one will go to the judging stage. 32 words is a reasonable maximum for your tiebreaker submission.

The videoblog competition submissions will commence, as Roma stated in the news room, on Saturday the 4th October. Remember, even if you don't finish, or even didn't enter the games, you are still in with a chance to win!

Also I'd just like to add, I hope that you all enjoyed the Loxian Games. It was a lot of fun to be involved with.

Thanks...Lee

LOL Ben didn't you get banned from there for being too pessimistic or something equally as bizarre?! Why did you get banned Odiasul? :o

Yeah I was a bit critical of the whole Amarantine package (album cover, single, video, Loxian) and I spoilt the general feeling of euphoria and elation at the time of its release. I was also a bit critical of Enya, Nicky & Roma's lack of communication with the fans too.

I think a lot of people now agree with the comments I made about Amarantine. Happily, Enya, Nicky and Roma seem to have massively raised their game in terms of communication. Their website is the best its ever been.

Some guidelines for video blog submissions:

1. Accepted formats avi, mov, rm, swf/flv, wmv, mpeg/mpg.

2. Max video running time: 5 minutes.

3. Max file size: 50Mb.

1. Encode your video in any of the above formats ( Avi, Quicktime, Realvideo, Flash video, Windows format or Mpeg) . Only one submission is required. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT IN EVERY FORMAT POSSIBLE. Choose one format.

2. Try to keep your video running time to less than 5 minutes. It doesn't have to be 5 minutes, it can be 1 minute or even 1 second. BUT NO LONGER THAN 5 MINUTES.

3. If your video turns out to be larger than 50Mb, re-encode the video with a higher compression setting.

ohhh what video I will do??? I would like to do some.... -_-
On the video then do you have to actually speak into the camera? Niftiness. ^_^
I can't wait to see the video blog submissions. I know Lizzie from Unity is doing one, and I'm excited to see hers because she was so clever at the games. B) She'll probably make a good one.

Roma says Humour and Honesty videos go a long way.

Now what is a honesty video'?

Well, perhaps if the person admitts that they had to have help from someone else or something like that. :P
well people can submit the video until tomorrow.
:yahoo: Some news on Enya.com: they are currently are going through video blogs and entries and will post the results "shortly." I am a bit fearful of the word shortly, but I'm nevertheless excited. :D
