And? All of those are totally minor. GMTV is reasonable but that was way before the release so it's as good as forgotten now.

 

Sugababes have promoted Girls with appearances on T4, Strictly Come Dancing, Al Murray, the live lounge, Loose Women and more. Girls Aloud are promoting The Promise on X Factor and more, and have done Radio 1 as well.

 

It's a shame the Sats couldn't get that any decent promo, but like has been said it's not their fault.

 

It's still much more promotion than any "newcoming" act is getting. I mean, they can't expect to get invited to perform on X Factor or SCD. Those shows are in a higher league and there's no way an act like TS get on it. I think they (and their label) do anything they can, but they have to make an acceptable impact in the charts before getting invited to such big shows (and IFTL hasn't proved that at all).

Yeah, theres no way Suga's or GA would of been invited onto X Factor after one single (not taking into account Popstars). Lets just hope the song gets some justice (which it seems to be getting!).

In other news, Crashing Down, I've decided, is the Saturdays' best song. I literally cannot believe it's only a b-side - it's single material! Wish it was on the album. Love it no end. It sounds FIERCE turned up really loud.

I'm amazed at how fast it is climbing but I'm still not convinced that it will be a success. "If This Is Love" climbed just as fast and that didn't have a great chart run or longevity in the end. -_- "Up" deserves to do so much better than "If This Is Love" though.
