26,593 - thats the exact amount it sold last week, very nice one week total indeed. Thats over half of what ITIL has sold overall!

 

Oh, i've been listening to a few tracks over on the Channel 4 site. 'Chasing Lights' in full is beautiful (lovely synths and lovely strings), their vocals are amazing too.

I always try to resist when albums leak because then its never as exciting once I get the album but I can't help myself!

'Work' is amazing but the album version of 'Up' isnt a patch on the single version!

Downloading nowww. Will give this is a good listen. Reviews have been mixed but slightly more positive than negative so far.

Any good ballads? Or is it all uptempo?

Its 50/50 - ballads/up-tempo's. Some amazing ballads incl. 'Issues'.

 

I cant wait until i buy this along with Pink's 'Funhouse' and GA's 'Live At The O2' dvd next monday from Woolworths!

Album 9.5/10 after first listen! every track is great, only critiscm Frankies voice is very computerized as in comparison to the live version of 'Chasing Lights' still its amazing.

 

Lies, Issues, Work, Chasing Lights, Keep Her! some of the best pop songs ever! :wub:

Giving it a listen now. Thoughts:

 

If This Is Love - Always really liked this. 8.5

Up - Great song, but the album version is hideously tinny. The original is an 8.5

Keep Her - Great vibe to this, lovely chorus. More upbeat than I expected. 8

Issues - Their best song? Maybe. Love the production on this, great song. 9

Lies - Huge chorus! That seems to be the Sats' thing. Really feeling this. 9

Work - Good verses (sound like a Misteeq song) but rubbish chorus. 7

Chasing Lights - What a lovely song. I do like me a nice cheery midtempo. 8

Set Me Off - Loved this since day one. The chorus is too damn infectious! 8.5

Fall - Background music perhaps, but the backing track is lovely (and really reminds me of something...) 7

Vulnerable - A bit Eastern sounding, whistley chorus. They're so resourceful, they've recycled Issues! 7

Why Me, Why Now - Super cute beat, frantic vocals. Grows on you with each chorus. 8.5

 

First half is much the strongest. Overall it's surprisingly strong! Nothing worth skipping over. Average - 8/10 ^_^
