Just realised I totally missed a trick when I read about Russ having left. My natural reaction should've been...

'Up is where we go from here' :kink:

And here we go again...

You really think it's fun to persistantly keep going on about how "bad" they are?

You need to change your tune, dude. I'd suggest changing it to "Up".

I think it will shock everyone and do quite well, most people who didn't like ITIL or thought it was just OK, seem to really like Up.

try reading the thread... dude... youll see that i said that i prefer it to itil. and i made 1 humourous comment about their brain power, thats all.

dont gloat.... russ was a decent bloke who has a wealth of musical knowlege at depth. if you get half of what he has (in that department) youll be rich. true, he didnt suffer fools gladly, and i fully understand his frustration at the level some younger dudes pitch at, but i guess thats normal.

i hope he comes back as he is an asset to this site which is sadly lacking in intelligent older members.

I wonder if this topic will get more than the last Saturdays one haha

Can we please stop talking about a past member of the site? He now has nothing to do with The Saturdays new single 'Up'.

So where do we think they'll promo it this time? They have a few uni dates lined up but tv wise i reckon they'll go for 'Loose Women' again and i think they should go for 'This Morning' along with Ant and Dec (if they're back in time).

Ant & Dec will be back, and they're the best promo the Saturdays could get, Strictly Come Dancing or X Factor aside. Perhaps they should try and get on SCD...
Hmmm, i dont think their high profile enough for either X Factor or SCD but i do think Ant and Dec (now its back) is within their reach you know. Would be amazing to get on there, 7/8 million.

I seriously doubt they'd get onto the X Factor unless they're related to or signed by one of the judges or some such.

Ant And Dec I can see happening though which would be very good for them.

I'd like to hear a proper HQ cos it does sound like a good track from what I can hear with that stupid bint who filmed the performance trying to do karaoke to it.

They are signed to a division of Poydor which im sure is ti up with Sony BMG, so they are signed to Simon.

There's a behind the scenes video shoot thing where you can hear just about all of the track clearly. It's absolutely amazing.

Just had my moment with Up. :heehee: LOVE it! Anyway:

This week we bring you everything you'll need to know about The Saturdays' next single - the fantastic Up! First though we bring your attention to the girls' own version of Through the Keyhole. Last week we brought you five different guided tours round the girls' flats and asked you to guess who lived where. If you haven't seen them all yet make sure you take a look here and then see the answers here to see if you guessed correctly.

As most of you already know the next Saturdays' single is to be... Up! Hot on the high heels of If This Is Love, the track is another piece of uptempo first class pop set to shake up the Top 10! This Sunday Frankie will be dropping by Radio 1's Switch show for a quick chat as well as playing Up on air for the very first time!!! You can hear the track at 8:40pm!

The girls have already shot the video and you can see the finished version on Monday exclusively at Yahoo.com! It is filmed with the same team as the If This Is Love video, so you can be sure that it will be just as hot! Make sure you let the girls know what you think in the forum!

The Saturdays' site also has a world exclusive!! Inspired by all your comments on the girls' messageboard, www.thesaturdays.co.uk brings you the very first episodes of the Mochelle Show! Make sure you watch Mollie and Rochelle host their own special programme. Let us know what you think of the shows in the forum and if it gets a great response then we'll be bringing you more!!!!!

Last week the girls had their grand photoshoot for all the artwork for their album! Check out an exclusive video from behind the scenes over on the girls' site. The artwork is in the bag and the girls are really excited with the results. We will be putting the pics up on the site very soon so watch out for those too!

Every day this week, www.thesaturdays.co.uk has been bringing you the girls' picks as they make the life-threatening decisions between Ant and Dec, Starbucks or Cafe Nero and er...long or short. Next week we will bringing you the girls' favourite nightspots, towns and gadgets as well as a host of other things. So make sure you come back to www.thesaturdays.co.uk every day next week for more gossip on the girls.

So, video on Monday. :D

I heard Ant and Dec isn't coming back again this year as they're doing another I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

In the Behind The Scenes vid of the album's photoshoot, Rochelle mentions that they're shooting covers for Up, the album (which she won't tell us the name of), and the next 2 singles - so there's going to be 4 singles by the looks of it.

It will all depends on how well the album is doing. If it's flopping big time the label won't bother releasing two other singles. Even the likes of the Sugababes and Girls Aloud don't release 4 singles of their last albums, so wait and see.

Did someone rip the full 'Up' audio from the youtube link above? I wanna a full mp3 of this

There is still no full 'Up', those are two parts of the song edited very well (but not perfectly) together. The full rip will be available tommorow from 8.40pm on radio 1 - that will be the first time the official single edit has ever been played fully.

Really exited about the Up video and the full version of it. The song itself still hasnt grown on me though.

Great review/promo from Perez Hilton ;

Pure pop perfection!

The Saturdays are our latest obsession.

More than just a one-hit wonder or Girls Aloud wannabes, these British gals keep delivering what matters most to us - good songs.

The Saturday's latest single, Up!, is Europop heaven.

We're gonna be jamming this Vegas all weekend long!

Can't wait to hear more from The Saturdays!

Hmm, im starting to re-think what i said a few weeks back that The Saturdays woudnt have any more sucsess than what someone like Phixx did. If Up can go top 10 i think they have a career ahead of them, probabky not something as memorable as Spice Girls and Girls Aloud though.

im not... im not being swayed by the rabbitings of the minority 'pop' fans. we know that pop fans will like this material, but the question is 'how appealing are they to general music fans'? as its these that need to be 'on board' if the shyte-adays are going to be successfull. maybe they will have a longer life then phixx, probably 2 albums aka sc juniors

Yeah as much as i do like If This Is Love, Issues and Set Me Off, id say 2 albums is how far they'll get.
