I think you're all missing the most important issue.

 

What the hell is going on with her hair?

I don't think she is miming - you can tell that it's different from the studio version and you can hear her getting her breath in some parts.

 

But yeah, her hair :o And the outfit - she must still think she's in Austin Powers.

 

That would be a good performance if it wasn't so all over the place.

1. But if you HEAR it, it's pretty clear it's live :unsure: or at least a pre-recorded live track

Pre-recorded live imo, how is it possible for anyone to dance so heavily and for such a long period and do live vocals, she wouldn't have the breath in her to do them, particularly to the highstandard of the track. i mean surely youd have noticed her slowing down in her vocals and the quality would decrease but no, they maintain the same quality :o

 

She could have sung all the choruses if she wished but instead went fo some dodgy and worryingly bad dancing :mellow:

What with the chez Lounge (big long couch) from the Me, Myself & I video, the dancing in the sand from the Baby Boy video, the dancing against the walls and the walk from the Crazy In Love video, and dancing in the jungle like the Survivor video.

 

So, it's actually like she's getting Deja Vu because she's done it all before!

I think you're right! Every now and again she pulls a face like she's remembering something, and it's always at the end of one of the sequences similar to her older videos! ^_^

Deja Vu is a disappointing return IMHO.

 

It's nowhere near as good as Crazy In Love.

I always hated 'Crazy In Love' with a passion, I just couldn't get it to leave me alone 3 years ago and it was hell. :(
