I know it's not them, it's The Jonas Brothers doing their song Burnin' Up, but I was reading in some magazine where they were saying they could hear "elements of Maroon 5" and I want to know what others think.

Jonas Brothers. :wub: I don't think the song sounds like Maroon 5 at all but I can see similarities between the two bands. Adam has a habit of use a high voice and so do they, if you look at it like that Jonas Brothers probably are the nearest comparison to Maroon 5 on the market right now. However, I don't think 'Burnin' Up' sounds like a Maroon 5 song, just their vocal expression.

I think there are tiny things in the song that remind me of Maroon 5, but Maroon 5 owns. :heart:

Their music is hard to have any simular features to Maroon 5 have imo :o

 

IMHO The best boys-bands are ones that have only one vocalist, like Maroon 5 have :wub:

I wouldn't consider M5 a boyband..boybands to me are Backstreet Boys, Take That, Boyzone, N'Sync...

but it consists of boys :heehee:

M5 just seems so different from that sound.
