I wouldn't have started it this early either, I only posted my odds early because Medicated Soap did it first...I think as soon as the confirmation thread closes might be a good time to start them in future

Yes, i agree they should only be started when the confirmation thread is closed. There have been so many song changes that most songs in the opening posts arent even in it any more.

Yes, I'm quite happy with that as i don't buy on these odds. Tatu had about 20/1 in BJSCV :o

Personally I don't mind the odds threads opening early, I don't take them too seriously. I hardly ever have good odds, but I hardly ever do well now. But if people don't like them then I guess I don't mind.

I don't mind the odds thread opening early either, I don't feel the need to change a song because of odds not being great I go with the song that feels right, after all Quotosibb had terrible odds for the most part in BJSC 6 and look what happened. :P

 

 

still in some people odds they are just revealing their posible votes <_< which takes the fun and the excitment from watching the result show when you allready know where the big points gonna end up :(

No? My favorite tracks are at the bottom of my odds because a lot of people on Buzzjack don't give them chances. But if this rule was implemented I wouldn't really mind. I just don't see the point, if we're going to enforce that once you pick a song, no changing.

People shouldn't take the odds thread too seriously, it's only how people percieve other songs to do... And if we're talking about "revealing votes" then tbf, people are always talking about who's going to get their 12 (not in the odds thread) in various topics all over the forum...

I've seen loads of people say things like "best song the competition" and "OMG that gets my 12" which is no different than the odds thread tbh, still revealing their points.

 

I actually like the odds thread because no one ever seems to tell me what they think of the songs I enter so I have to use them to see what people are thinking LOL
