I like the single, I like the melody and music that goes along with the song, but damn...

I think it's an okay song, but nowhere as good as White Flag though. But who knows maybe it's a grower have to give it a few more listens.

But if she came back with "White Flag pt. 2" everyone would criticize her for being repetitive... I´m glad she tried something different. She doesn´t need to release a classic song every time.

 

Plus, I think this is just a warm up. There might be a 2nd single until the end of the year, and a classic Dido ballad would fit perfectly as a single in december.

I think the same. But at the same time, I´d be frustrated if she released another "White Flag", no matter how good it was. She´s not in it just for money and chart sucess. It doesn´t matter if the song doesn´t have massive sucess like White Flag, as long as she´s doing respectable stuff. Plus, these days artists are keeping the best for the 2nd or 3rd singles...

I agree, this is very average...I don't think her new album will be anywhere near as successful as the first two based on this lead single

I dislike both of the new Dido songs. She has two amazingly brilliant first albums and then follows up with this :mellow:
