I thought he did one in Manchester before. However, I won't even be able to apply because I am on holiday! Never mind all the more room for one of you.

He did Pearl but Manchester isn't the northeast. After cancelling the Sunderland gig I feel he owes me one. :P

How exciting :cheer:

I can't win an argument, but will enter anyway :P You have to be in it to win it :D

Sorry Suggy but I didn't know where you lived. As far as I am concerned Manchester is the north-west! At least it is from the Isle of Wight!

Yes it is NW, but I just class myself as a Northener. :D

I've just received this e-mail from LiveNation Weekly. Apparently on sale Friday:-

WILL YOUNG

NEW DATE ADDED

A London Cadogan Hall show has been announced for September as a warm-up to Will's upcoming 'Let It Go' tour.

Will's Tour, as well as featuring many favourites from his enviable back-catalogue, will centre around his stunning new album.

Released September 29th via RCA Label Group, Let It Go plays to Will's strengths whilst also pushing him in exciting new directions, melding soul, disco and that extraordinary voice with good old-fashioned pop to create his most arresting record to date.

Apparently the e-mail shouldn't have been sent out.

From the OS

Users signed up to Live Nation may have received an email alerting them to the fact that Will is playing a warm-up date at Cadogan Hall on 25th September.

Please note that this event is not for general entry but is a fan-only event with tickets only available to fans, details of which, we will release on Thursday as previously announced.

Apologies for any confusion caused, the information was sent out by mistake.

 Wonder if that applies to Steve Winwood, Donavon Frankenreiter and the Stereophnics, who were the others advertised in the e-mail.

Don't think I'm much interested in them chrysalis.

Thanks TT, I'm really pleased that there's going to be a heck of a lot of happy Will fans getting to go to this,

it's a massive increase on the last album launch. :cheer:

Much as I love the idea of a big album launch just for Will's fans, how are they going to sort the chaff from the wheat so to speak? I know in the past that people have got tix for "fan only" events, and they're not fans.

That's interesting isn't it - ho hum. Thanks TT. So wish they had stuck with 2 per booking . Now we are down to the first 200. Doubt some of us will stand a cat-in-hell's chance. Good luck if you are trying though.

Fully expecting to see them on e-bay. Anyone can register as a member.

But this way anyone can get them, and then sell them on. :(

Yup - and according to peeps on the O/S it's being advertised everywhere so...... so much for a gig for the fans

It's just a general sale isn't it. Pity they led us to believe differently. :(

Best of luck everyone trying tomorrow. I think we are going to need it. Now if only they'd stuck to 2 tickets per person. :(

I'll not be trying tomorrow, but the very best of luck to you all in getting tickets.
Neither am I suggy, but good luck to the real fans. Must admit to feeling disappointed that basically it's a general sale.

Good luck to those who are trying for tickets. I won't be ^_^

Just looked on the O/S and It's hardly what I would call intimate, and paying for tickets? What's that about?

It's just another tour date surely

Well that was a failure with a capital F wasn't it? hardly anyone on the sites got tickets and from just after 9am, none were available, on e-bay there seems to be plenty though with prices for 2 tickets going for £400. :arrr:
