so were looking at platnum this week...i hope it sells more than 450k by xmas!

Looks like GA are gonna sell another 60k+ this week so they should clear 350k by this weekend. Possibly another 80k the following week (Girls Aloud Party and last week of xmas) followed by another 50/60k in the last week of Christmas. Therefore i think we are looking at year end sales of around 500k+ which would be amazing. With a second and third single planned, plus the tour etc then it could clear upwards of 700k :o

Yep, i think this has the chance of definately becoming their biggest selling studio album and surpassing SOGA sales and becoming their biggest selling album ever.

I would love it to get to the million mark. I really hope it does. And it looks like they'll clear 6 million records sold in total soon!

That is incredible! I dont think people are realising how big this is, after just one single release its sold over 400k (including this weeks sales!).

Some of those single sales need updating, GHs hit album is 893k not including last weeks sales, I reckon another 28k on top of it.

Does anyone have the peaks of all the DVDs, or even some of the chart runs? Also, do we have any sales on the Style DVD and the Tangled Up Live DVD?

oh YAH! Sound of the Underground is over the 600K mark! And Something Kinda Ooooh is over 200K!

I hope because of all the GA stuff high in the charts this week, that on Monday, Musicweek may give us a few updates, pretty please

Tangled Up's sales are a total of 450,500 after selling 206,000 this year to make it #71 in the end of year (2008) chart

Notice that the top 4 selling singles are all from an era (apart from theres not one from Chemistry), good that eh?!

 

I've just counted, they're just over 100k away from selling 3million singles (with at least 100k from TLK and poss another 50k from TP i reckon this time next month they will have reached the landmark) and they will surpass the 3.4 million mark of album sales by next month too.

 

The girls have sold 6.3 million records in just over 6 years.

I have it that they have already sold: 3,042,883 by the totals of the singles there (and a total of 3,272,888 for albums as of last week)
