Yeah, I was referring to the large semi-final era mostly because before then only one host had flopped in the following contest. 5/9 winners finished top 10 when they hosted and Eledan's isn't really a flop as it is top half. So the only host flops come from me, you and David so far. I think it's probably just a coincidence that two of the last three hosts have flopped, we just didn't pick good enough songs. If I had to guess, I'd say Roisin will probably fall short of the top 10, maybe at around 13th or 14th, which is pretty much on the border for flop/success.

I have reviewed my odds for Movies actually, I think it has more crossover appeal than I initially thought :o

Woah @ VV Brown's odds

I was really expecting a mid table hit with this tbh.

15 (20) 25/1 Sangria (Yelle)

Sangria: Yelle - Ce Jeu 28/1

Yelle's odds are becoming much better then they were before the SFs :cheer:

It's interesting to see who people have put at the BOTTOM of their odds - Some people may be surprised on Monday *COUGH*possibly-missleading-statement*COUGH*

I think brunoboi might end up doing a pavel soon with all these clues

Although it must be hard to keep the votes to yourself.....I can imagine if I had results and the winner was someone who hasn't won before and they kept saying they'll never win I'd want scream "You won! You won!" at them :heehee:

I would never give clues - I make statements which could or could not lead one to draw a conclusion about the competition

It's a lovely song.

same for United States Of Russiatron, who made the first 8 finals and have missed the last two :o

it's all about making the right song choice I suppose as Simon Cowell says to all the contestants on X Factor ...

We will come back with a vengence. Once we get rid of that prime minister Paul Danan. :smoke:.

Are you saying that Kerry Ellis is defying gravity by being far from the bottom of the table? :kink:

Well we know that the winner so far is one of the songs at the top of peoples odds, and that there are a couple of songs at the bottom doing very well...top 5 perhaps?

I am led to believe you have read far too much into my posts

You are the most patient host i think, Tom :heehee: I would already got crazy  But who knows

:P

I'm tempted to shorten the odds of VV Brown again...I now think it's a three horse race between US Jack, Utopia and Torchwood

 :D :) ^_^ -_- <_<

I could of course be completely wrong and they could all be outside the top ten! highly unlikely a prospect that would be though...

I find it is better to reply in this thread through the medium of smilies so as to avoid giving away any unwanted information as to the provisional results I am currently in possesion of so:

This will be a strange final for me, because I'm hacked off that I could not enter Ladyhawke - Dusk To Dawn which has been a personal chart #1 for me which I reckon could have won this competition (certainly a Top 5 finish), as I never used Ladyhawke's Paris Is Burning in BJSC8 because I'd heard Dusk To Dawn and figured it was a much better/stronger song, but then Paris Is Burning came Top 3, so I had to wait until BJSC 10, and then Utopia have entered Embrace which I don't think is as good as Dusk To Dawn.

So I've gone with Duffy's Distant Dreamer which I think will struggle to do better than a mid table finish in the Final.

Still at least (I think) I've got a cracker of a killer song lined up for BJSC 11. ;)
