August 25, 200816 yr Author One word NO :o The general opinion is that it was a load of bollox spouted by The Sun. Unfortunately - other sites like Digital Spy got hold of it before The Sun removed it from their site. At least I hope its bollox! I hate novelty songs - even those done for charity. Norma
August 25, 200816 yr its hard to know but there could be a chance if its true and personnaly id love gary to have the x mas number 1 and not x factor for a change
August 25, 200816 yr Author its hard to know but there could be a chance if its true and personnaly id love gary to have the x mas number 1 and not x factor for a change I think we all know that nothing but nothing will stop the X Factor song being number one (no matter how cr ap it is!) I must admit though, from being totally against it at the beginning ... it would be nice for Gary to let of steam and do it. It proves once and for all that he has truly loosened up and doesn't care about being 'the responsible' one. He's doing what he wants for a laugh and to heck with anyone else! Norma
August 25, 200816 yr yes i agree a good comedy record will show people that gary isnt all dull and serious it wiuld show his funny side to those that fail to see he has it
August 25, 200816 yr Author yes i agree a good comedy record will show people that gary isnt all dull and serious it wiuld show his funny side to those that fail to see he has it Have you noticed all the Jonathon Ross & Gary / Take That interviews are back on Youtube? Anyway ... I'm off to bed now! Night Night! Norma

August 27, 200816 yr Author I havent luked on youtube for ages i must look one of the days anyhow im heading off soon myself sleep well and chat soon Judging from what I've seen of other sites and forums (not even Peter & Gary fan sites) most people seem to want anything to stop X Factor getting the number 1 single! Norma
August 27, 200816 yr yesi agree i think there are loads who will buy anything but x factor winner to get a different number 1,,personnally i would love someone to make aproper x mas record this year perdsonnally the last classic xmas song made was by mariah carey since thing nothing which is a huge shame
August 27, 200816 yr If it will be a good song, than yeah! But only to produce a comedy little song t beat the X-factor, hmmm, not worth a cent in my opinion. Even if it will be a number 1. (and that goes for egal who makes the song - who sings it).
August 27, 200816 yr Author I've made a pinned thread from the 'Gary's Site' thread that was posted a while ago. There is an update on this. I don't think it is a Christmas release song as such ... it is just a song he and Peter Kay have written together for Peter's new show! Norma
September 9, 200816 yr Author It looks like this is a goer. But thankfully its not just Gary - its all of the boys plus Peter. I've decided ... even if it is c**p (which I'm sure it won't be) I'm buying it anyway ... my contribution towards keeping X-Factor from getting to number 1! I think I would even buy a Robbie single just to stop X-Factor! And you know how I feel about Rob! http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/new..._got_xmasfactor Norma
September 9, 200816 yr the fact its all the boys gives it even a greater chance f numbe r1 i agree id love x factor not to be the xmas number 1 this year
October 7, 200816 yr Author In the TV Times today (7th Oct) there's an article on Peter Kay's 'Britain's Got the Pop Factor, etc, etc' and in it says: "Pop impresario Pete Waterman, radio DJ Neil Fox and TV presenter Nicki Chapman, all former Pop Idol judges, will play themselves and there's talk of a Christmas single featuring Geralding and Take That." Geraldine is one of the characters that Kay plays and I've underlined the 'talk of' as I'm half-hoping that this is all it is. Norma
