Pretty much all UK dates are sold out already.

Very impressed with the song 'Rock and Roll Train.'

Was suprised to not see an AC/DC forum here, they are legends.

'You Shook Me All Night Long' one of my fav songs ever =]

i really want to see them but London tickets are sold out, well for standing anyway, and f*** sitting at a gig tbh. (also i dont have £45 for a ticket lol.

but Reading fest fingers crossed yeah.

mmmmm ok a newbies point of view

the album imo is mediocre and has riffs from past songs used

lyrics arent the best

i was lucky enough to be at the video shoot for the rock n roll train video and ave to say the boys looked old and weary by the time the band get to the british leg of the tour am not sure how brians voice will ave held up they are all in their 60's now and havent toured for 8 years since stiff upper lip.

The new album did ave 2 surprises that caught me out

Angus plays a finger slide and they have done a kinda bluesy ballad which i really like

The best track on the album and again imo will be the 2nd single is Big Jack

sorry for a newbies rants but hey we all gotta start somewhere

welcome to the forum.

Has 'Big jack' been comfirmed as second single?

i reckon they will do ok touring (not like it matters as i dont have tickets  but at least they are now a rumour for reading 09 :D)

Big Jack hasnt been announced as next single as far as i know was just my opinion is typical DC sound and is the kinda song they would do live imo anyways

welcome aboard the no ticket club am disappointed with the gig line up no scottish dates seems strange to me

i heard rumours about reading as well seeing they dont wanna play donnington n the like

and thanks for the welcome seems a cool place to read bout different bands n the like

i shall be back

yeah also there was an offical AC/DC comp at Reading this year.

i reckon there will be scottish dates soon enough, surely they would want to play glasgow.

i have my Reading 09 ticket already so i hope they do :D

yeah please come back we need more people in the punk/metal forum, not many other members seem to care much.

well to be honest i only came here initially cos i just started a internet radio station with a mate in U.S.A n wanted outlets for listeners

but after reading a few posts decided this was one of best i'd visited most dont bother with metal or punk

if anybody wants the AC/DC experience but doesnt have trickets could always check out a band i follow

DIRTY DC are imo the best tribute band on the circuit covering most of the UK

they do a double header this friday at cambridge corn exchange alongside HI-ON Maiden

just a thought if ya at a loose end

AC/DC have roped in Formula One fitness coaches to prepare them for their forthcoming mammoth world tour.

With a probable stretch of two years ahead on the road in support of new album 'Black Ice', the Antipodean rockers are aware they're not as young as they were, and they're taking no chances.

Speaking to Absolute Radio DJ Ben Jones, singer Brian Johnson admitted: "Both me and Angus (Young, guitarist) have got a fitness regime.

"I'm getting a Formula One guy in. A fitness guy, he's trying to get me whipped into shape and size. [The show is]two-and-a-bit hours and there's no time for recovery."

Meanwhile, founding guitarist Angus Young discussed the challenges of choosing a setlist from over 30 years worth of material. "We know we've got to play a lot of tracks that most people who have come to know us [will want in the set]," he said.

The pair also hinted that the stage set for the tour would involve a giant train set in honour of new single 'Rock'n'Roll Train'.

The Black Ice Tour begins in Wilkes-Barre, Pensylvania on October 28 before arriving in the UK next April.

You can listen to the full interview with Young and Johnson on Absolute Radio tomorrow night (October 22) at 11pm (BST).

#1 in the album charts, brilliant!
