October 19, 200816 yr mmmmm ok a newbies point of view the album imo is mediocre and has riffs from past songs used lyrics arent the best i was lucky enough to be at the video shoot for the rock n roll train video and ave to say the boys looked old and weary by the time the band get to the british leg of the tour am not sure how brians voice will ave held up they are all in their 60's now and havent toured for 8 years since stiff upper lip. The new album did ave 2 surprises that caught me out Angus plays a finger slide and they have done a kinda bluesy ballad which i really like The best track on the album and again imo will be the 2nd single is Big Jack sorry for a newbies rants but hey we all gotta start somewhere

October 21, 200816 yr Author AC/DC have roped in Formula One fitness coaches to prepare them for their forthcoming mammoth world tour. With a probable stretch of two years ahead on the road in support of new album 'Black Ice', the Antipodean rockers are aware they're not as young as they were, and they're taking no chances. Speaking to Absolute Radio DJ Ben Jones, singer Brian Johnson admitted: "Both me and Angus (Young, guitarist) have got a fitness regime. "I'm getting a Formula One guy in. A fitness guy, he's trying to get me whipped into shape and size. [The show is]two-and-a-bit hours and there's no time for recovery." Meanwhile, founding guitarist Angus Young discussed the challenges of choosing a setlist from over 30 years worth of material. "We know we've got to play a lot of tracks that most people who have come to know us [will want in the set]," he said. The pair also hinted that the stage set for the tour would involve a giant train set in honour of new single 'Rock'n'Roll Train'. The Black Ice Tour begins in Wilkes-Barre, Pensylvania on October 28 before arriving in the UK next April. You can listen to the full interview with Young and Johnson on Absolute Radio tomorrow night (October 22) at 11pm (BST).
