Feck off.... :P Why should I admit I'm "wrong" for having an opinion that there are certain circumstances where and individual HAS to bear some responsibility for their own foolish actions when they do something that is just SO head-slappingly, Homer Simpson-esque STOOPID that it's unreal... I DONT believe that wearing a short-skirt to a night club or having a few too many falls into this category, but I DO believe travelling alone to a hostile environment against advice where literally life and limb is in danger IS..... Even the cops on BOTH sides of the Channel think this place is dangerous and no one should go there... So, on your own head be it if you choose to ignore that, sorry to sound harsh.... -_- Yeah, let's all go for a day-trip to The Jungle in Calais.... You bring the beer and nibbles, I'll bring the automatic weapons and flak jackets..... :P And, Richard, if you think my opinions on this are "shocking", you should hear what several of my FEMALE friends had to say about this woman's actions. The phrase "silly woman, what the hell was she thinking...?" was probably the politest thing they had to say.... And none of these ladies are exactly shrinking violets if you know what I mean..... A friend of mine who I was at uni with did some volunteer work in South America, and she basically told me that the guides and those in charge of the project made it crystal clear to them that if anyone was daft enough to go wandering off on their own in the jungle or rain forests, whatever happened to them was 100% on them and rescue was about as likely as finding a virgin in a brothel, they had to sign a release form and everything.... Funnily enough, no one DID go wandering off on their own...... :rolleyes:
