Strictly Come Dancing starts next week. It has been scheduled back to back with X-Factor

Which will you be watching.

X-Factor for me

Although I think they should get rid of Dermot O'Leary - his waffling on make me fall asleep.

Can't see the appeal in SCD. Maybe it would be better with non-celebrities.

I don't like all these celebrity shows:

SCD - I'm A Celebrity... - Celebrity Big Brother - Hell's Kitchen etc.

i heard that Rachel Stevens is appearing on Strictly??? is so then thats my decision made

I'm a fan of talent shows, but I'm not a fan of reality shows = so SCD all the way.

Especially as Rachel Stevens & Heather Small between them have had more UK Top 3 hits between them than Cheryl Cole & Dannii Minogue (14 v 13).

Whilst SCD judge Bruno Tonioli has choreographed a hell of a lot of famous contemporary pop videos including:

Rihanna - Umbrella

Whilst last year the equivalent of SCD's Kate Garraway won X-Factor:

Leon "bum note sob story" Jackson - When You Believe (Live on GMTV)

Both really but if X Factor is as awful as last year then mostly Strictly.
X Factor, I just don't see the appeal of Strictly, it's obviously too mature for me or something.
I've always preffered X Factor myself. Like Aaron, I've never really understood the appeal of Strictly.

 Same. X Factor for me.

I'd rather watch a 'talent' show than sit through 10 minutes of The X Factor

I was reading The Mirror last week and the tv reviewing guy (I want his job!!) was saying how Dermot O'Dreary just reads out the same old stuff like 'biggest search' and that c**p, and at least Strictly won't be resoponsible for ruining the Christmas number 1

I like both, I will watch both though.. Probs Strictly just ahead of XFactor this year though.

X Factor for me on Saturday nights , Will pre-record "Strictly" on Saturday and watch it after X Factor and a lot of you are forgetting we now have the Sunday Results Show for "Strictly" so if you do miss Saturday you can still watch Sunday and will most likely show you highlights.

Strictly isnt back next week , It's scheduled for Saturday 20th September at this point i assume X factor will have its finale audtion process , Boot Camp Episodes September 27th & Judges Home's October 04th & Live Show's October 11th.

I read somewhere it's back on the 13th of september

No it's back 20th September if you read the line up on digitalspy it says 20TH SEPTEMBER

BBC website has SCD listed for 20th Sept start.

X Factor was dire last year and SCD had a fantastic line-up.

Think I'll be watching Strictly if I'm in on a Sat and then X Factor repeats, depending how good it is.
