Just to get this out of the way as a disclaimer of sorts, Luigi Masi is neither talented nor credible. He simply has some very good songs and a very rich daddy (apparently).

 

With that said, did anyone see him as the support act at either Girls Aloud or Sugababes' tours earlier this year? He performed a four-song set to what can only be called a poor reception. One, namely 'The Look', was set to become his debut single but instead he decided to record some more and his actual debut will be 'Strobelight', a song recorded with American hitmaker Jim Beanz who does electro-pop-r&B-lite-type stuff and is in the same vain as, say, Danja.

You can hear a snippet of Strobelight at Luigi's myspace but the full song is doing the rounds on the blogs and it's really worth finding. A great electropop number, his vocals aside. I'd quite like to see him do very well with it really, just so he doesn't feel any more disheartened after his less-than-raptuous reception on tour with GA/Sugababes.

Unfortunately I've had the pleasure of seeing him twice :lol: hes just ok imo.
