I'm loving this atm. I take it she wont be releasing in the UK again though?

 

I think the label who released the Can't Touch It remix only bought the rights to that single; she's not signed to them as far as I know. It'd be great if she could get a proper deal with a non-dance label to release her new album fronted by Wiggle It, with Can't Touch It bunged onto the end of the tracklist.

 

Wiggle It is absolutely brilliant btw and that video is very appealing. She's so charismatic and godly. Ozzy pop. :wub:

Pretty much glad you LOVE Wiggle It!! I went along to the video shoot (and i can see myself lol, wearing a pink bow in my hair, and a short fluro checkboard dress, right behind Ricki in a few shots!) and had a blast!

 

With the overseas deal stuff, there was some sort of legal issue i think, coz when u wanna little of this (the remix version of cant touch it that was guna be released thru europe) was guna be released, and subsequently delayed, i emailed lauren (her manager) and she said things would be happening soon.. but that was months ago.. and now she's a co-host on our new series of australian idol (where she got her start, back in series 2, she came 7th.)

 

I think it was only just the single that the deal was for, and maybe it was to test the waters and see if any further releases would happen.. but now i'd say they may try again next year, and get over to the uk to do some promo... if anything it'll be after idol.. i know she's planning on going overseas again in december/january/february to write for her next album, but yeah...

 

and Jark - she's the LOVELIEST person ever!! she always has time for the fans, shes bubbly and fun to be around, and yeah - what you said!!! :D

What's radio play in Oz like? Is she heading for another Top 5 on ARIA?

ummm Radio play for the songs been pretty good - it was the 5th most added song to radio the other week, so we're hoping that translates into a top 5 on ARIA yeah!!!! :D

Ah, Wiggle It debuted at #11 in Oz this week. :( Not bad obviously, but all 3 previous singles made the Top 10.

Don't worry it will go to Top 10 soon. But tbh, it doesn't sound as good as her previous single.

this is one of my fave ricki lee songs! i hope it does good.

i wish i was in that video clip but i had school :(
