Its the same with cd singles. You can buy one of each CD1 and CD2 and it'll count as 2 chart points, buy two of each in the same transaction and it'll still count as two

Just out of random interest, who corrects titles when I decapitalise certain words? Because I change it and someone changes them back. I'm only changing them so they're grammatically correct. In band names/song titles you don't capitalise words like 'the', 'to' and 'of'! It's bad grammar. Hence why they're decapitalised on iTunes/iTunes feed.

 

So it's 'Kings of Leon' not 'Kings Of Leon' and 'We Break the Dawn' not 'We Break The Dawn'. You don't just capitalise everything because most bits are.

 

Perhaps I'm being a touch anally retentive but like, why change back when I take the time to change titles so they're correct :huh:

We had the same discussion on Devoted about multi buying. I reckon they do count. Each cd is scanned into the system and is loggd as a sale for the chart return - the fact that one person has bought more than one imho is irrelevant. The sales receipt shows each item seperately. All cds of one track all have the same catalogue information so they have to be counted as seperate sales. If you go into a supermarket and buy six cans of beans they are scanned through the system as six gone off the stock not one can sold. I'm pretty certain it's the same with cds.
