i hope kids charts very highly.. they deserve recogntition, a great, new band .

Best track from them by FAR. I have loved this since like February, then went off it, and then when I saw them at Leeds I realised its greatness again.

 

I hope this is used in some sort of advert or something. I think it'll be quite big that way, otherwise i'm not too sure. Top 30 hopefully, and album sales to rise massively...

I've loved it for tym now so I don't really appreciate it AS MUCH, as naturally I overplayed it to an extent but still it is a wonderful little track. Can't top "Time To Pretend" though and to be frank NOTHING EVER WILL <33

Brilliant, MGMT are shaping up to be one of my favourite bands/artists of 2008, probably just behind Black Kids and Gabriella Cilmi :lol:

Its SO overrated it's stupid. It's clearly the song that everyone wants to be released (and probably the one that will do best from the album) but it's still far from being the best song. 'The Handshake', 'Future Reflections' and 'Of Birds, Moons & Monsters' are all so much better.

It's also my fave song from the album and one of my fave songs of 2008. Roo the little legend sent me the demo of this months ago, before Time To Pretend had even been released and I think I loved it from first listen

 

I'm also very glad it's been released. They've made some very smart choices regarding singles imo

I'd agree with this I think. The first 5 tracks are really good. The second 5 are so-so...

I'm not trying to be different? I think the song is actually quite repetitive.

I quite like it, but it can get quite annoying and repetitive after a few plays. Definitely a great choice for single though ^_^

This should've been the 2nd single. I never really liked 'Electric Feel' that much.

I swear the lyrics here are so good but I often find myself missing the song entirely and getting too absorbed in trying to work out what the lyrics mean. :lol:

This track stood out for me when I was given a sampler of three tracks quite a long time ago now, the other two ended up being the two previous singles :lol:
