My goodness, its very sad to see how this thread is shaping up. Seriously, its practically a bashing thread now. Well I love Pink and Anastacia and Dido and will by all three albums. I don't believe Ana has 'killed off' her fanbase either. I like the song, will admit its not as good as it could have been, but she has in no way lost me as a fan. And if the album flops, so what? she could come back in a couple of years with a better album that sells a lot. Look at Madonna of Pink, herself. Both have had hit and miss albums chartwise in the last decade.

Anthem, easy relatable lyrics, perfect P!nk attitude, throw in some guitar and synths. BAM. Song of the year :wub:

 

Anastacia's comeback is lame. Really really bad. She will struggle to get Platinum with her album.

IMO this is her angriest song ever - and her angriest ones are her best... :)

I'm not overly fussed with 'So What' (or Pink, reallly...) but it's a hell of a lot better and FAR less 'bubblegum' than the lead single off her previous album which went onto sell over a million in the UK...

 

It didn´t sold all that because the lead single... I think it would have bombed if the album wasn´t saved by "U+Ur Hand", specially in USA were it ended its first run in the Hot 200 with like 400k-ish sold. If it wasn´t for the 3rd single, the album would have been a massive flop, even worse then try This. So I predict the same now... Mediocre sales in the begining, and the sucess of the album depending on latter singles.

It's not a case of agreeing. You just don't seem to take on board what anyone else is saying. Remaining totally close minded. I'm not a huge pop music lover but P!nk is quite clearly better than McFly or the Jonas Brothers. Her music has scope, dimensions to it and depth. Or am I totally wrong?

I was not talking about the lyrics, but the music itself... It just wouldn´t sound out of place in a Jonas Brothers or McFly album. Pink is playng safe with this, cause this song is just poorer repetition of anything she (or her producers) have done in recent years. Whoever thinks a "na na na" song like this can be taken seriously in music needs some music classes...

P!NK is FAAAAAAR better than Anastacia tbh.

 

One Anastacia song I like is 'Left Outside Alone' - but I'd never DREAM of buying her album tbh.

P!nk has a different approach on every new album she does, and she's just SO much better than Anastacia tbh.

I love Anastacia n didn't think much of I Can Feel You but after listening to it a few times I now love it but do think Pink's new song will do better!!

I've heard both singles now. Really like Pink's newie but Anastacia's was disappointing.
