By far the best performance of the night... looking very lady gaga here isnt she!

Ugh she's ripping off Lady GaGa so badly with all of this. The image/style/sound.

 

I thought P!nk was best of the night. She actually managed to sing live throughout....

So unoriginal...the song is a rip off from Goldfrapp..her style is a rip off from Lady Gaga. I liked Christina alot, like she was in my top 10 artists...but I kinda hate her now TBF.

^ Iv never seen her with that hair before... she's had straight white blonde hair before but never with a frainge like that? and the mask thing at the start was very lady gaga.. i still think she was amazing tho even if she did mime the start bit!

I love Christina but this new look and sound of her's is shockingly Gaga "inspired" and its the first thing everyone seems to be saying after they see this performance.

 

Its so uninspired. I love the electro sound. Im glad she has put the jazz away and remembered what modern music sounds like but there is a difference between being influenced and down right ripping off. And it doesn't matter if gaga has only been out a month and Christina has been in the industry a decade, its still copying.

 

 

Amazing (mimed) performance. She is back and loving it. But the style etc was so Lady GaGa. I actually thought it was her at first. But on a whole, great performance.

Pink had the best performance of the night. This was the 2nd best though

I think that despite the miming and the obvious GaGa rip-off it was a very enjoyable performance. She looks amazing and I loved the dancing.

and I love Xtina new song but she should leave the look to Lady GaGa, since it works better for her!

and lip synching the whole perfromance after talking c**p about others doing it in the past :wacko:

and we all know that she can sing her ass off!!!

I was shocked to see Christina mime. Its so not like her! And we all know she can sing live extremely well.

 

But at the same time. She was more active than she usually is on stage and she was performing new material. It doesn't matter how good you are live, it sounds better recorded - maybe she wanted us to hear the new stuff for the first time as it is meant to be heard?

 

Her lady gaga stars in their eyes performance still bugs me. But I cant wait to hear a full HQ of the new "Genie In A Bottle" which is going to be on her greatest hits - even though it wasn't this version that was a hit for her! nuts

Performance was good in terms of her moves, but being mimed is very disappointing.

 

The new mix of Genie sounds ace however.

I'm gonna go with more Goldfrapp or Rachel Stevens than Lady Gaga - since this song was probably written more than a month ago, I'd say it's unlikely Camp Xtina had time to think 'oh she's good, lets rip her off in time for the VMA's" - maybe the looks is like hers, but the rest? No.

 

And, actually, if she is ripping off Gaga, it's only good news for her - it might help her get noticed in the UK, since, like, no-one knows her here.

 

Hot performance from Christina. Surely to God she's has proved herself to be a great live vocalist to be allowed a mimed performance, of the first time she's performed a song?

Christina is an OUTSTANDING talent. She really is...I just cant understand why she isn't putting any of that to good use :/

I think I kinda overreacted TBH. I just really hate her new song, and I hate that this new era is a complete rip off...I know I have already said this, but it's almost like someone put Goldfrapp's music, Lady Gaga's style and Christina's voice in a blender and just released it to the world. And considering she has dissed and called out Britney for lipping during her Slave 4 U performance (Where Britney was dancing alot quicker, and alot better then Christina in the performance) I find her a bit hypocritical.

 

Not to mention she kinda looked like Linda Hogan on the red carpet. Someone call the pre-2008 Christina and tell her she is missed.

It was a great performance, a shame she had to look like Gaga and mime. I still think the new song is great, however I dont like the new remix of Genie, hope the original is also included on the GH
