Posted September 12, 200816 yr new single from the act who should have made it big with Right By Your Side earlier in the year...it's a chavved up version of the 1998 classic R&B anthem All My Life, a top ten UK hit/US No.1 by K-Ci and Jojo... lHCRLbqkNss a bit uninspiring, but on the same level as Cascada's Truly Madly Deeply I suppose...
September 12, 200816 yr  They really do want to be Cascada don't they? I like it though but I LOVE the original so I hope it puts more interest back into the original more than this one  The original is without a Doubt one of my fave RnB songs EVER!
September 12, 200816 yr Author completetely, it's a bit sad how much they aspire to be like Cascada, Natalie is one of a kind, this girl doesn't compare  I think it's a bit of a cheap cover to be honest, songs as emotional as this should really not be covered in this way, which is why TMD is my least favourite Cascada single...

Agree... But Cascada's cover version of TMD was good! although i MUCH preferred the slower version that they did
September 12, 200816 yr Author Agree... But Cascada's cover version of TMD was good! although i MUCH preferred the slower version that they did  the slow version was gorgeous, on par with Savage Garden's version the chav version as I like to refer to it as was just ridiculous. it stripped the song of the emotion it deserves :( can't believe it was such a big hit, I only thought it would get to about No.15 or something...
September 12, 200816 yr Catchy, but so boring. I'm really tired of the Cascada-esque sound, especially cos the beats are always the same in ever song.
September 12, 200816 yr Author in 2002 this would have been guaranteed top 5 in my chart but now I'm so tired of the same sound like you say Xylem :( I doubt this will make my chart at all
September 12, 200816 yr I was thinking the other day how commercial dance is getting cheesier, but also less radio friendly (probably why there's hardly any dance songs that go top10 on the airplay charts nowadays). These agressive and repetitive Cascada-esque beats are really dominating the commercial end of the scene, and i'm totally sick of it. Bring back the original sound of Lasgo, Fragma, Sash, Alice Deejay, Angel City, Robert Miles, Sonique, etc. They were much better and provided some variety to their sound.
September 12, 200816 yr Author I agree 100%, it's no wonder they don't get airplay, they are far too frantic and fast paced, certainly for commercial radio whereas the slower dance influenced songs like Sam Sparro and Eric Prydz have no trouble picking up radio support as they are easier on the ear and far more distinctive
September 12, 200816 yr Ah spot on Xylem and Rich. I've never thought of that. All those songs on clubland tv never get anywhere. Only Scooter and Cascada get that sort of success, the rest goes out in its masses, but never does anything. Would Disco Lights NOT be in this category though? Imo thats why i liked it so much and although it still kinda flopped it did do ok.
September 12, 200816 yr I miss this sound: vq_Ti_-diPs Very melodic and catchy, without being agressive and unappealing to radio. And I dont blame solely the Cascada sound for alienating the genre on radio, the electro crapness that's dominating clubs is also very minimalistic, boring and robotic for radio.

I am actually getting sick of it too, although I will never tire of Cascada's versions ^_^ I would have loved this had it come out before Cascada's stuff but I don't love it as much as i should. :(
October 3, 200816 yr Bump! I had to bump this again because I wanted to listen to it to see if i'd grow to love it, but it's doing NOTHING for me! I can't believe they're actually still going ahead with the release of this! -_- Edited October 3, 200816 yr by Johnjo07
October 4, 200816 yr Author it will probably just get a digital release...it still does very little for me...very cheap song
