The R+B five-piece are as well-known for their revealing stage costumes and sexy dance routines as they are for their songs. But they insist that their upcoming record Doll Domination, which is released later this month, sounds as though it was written by the group. Singer Kimberly Wyatt says, "The new album is Pussycat Dolls to the next level. We worked with some really great producers - Rodney Jerkins, Sean Garrett, Cee-Lo Green and Timbaland. "There are some really up-tempo, fun songs but there's also songs that show the sensitive and vulnerable sides of the Pussycat Dolls. We've messed around with a lot of genres and the sound is something different from what we've done before. I'd even say it's a bit like Coldplay! It's kind of got an indie-rock vibe." And Walsh admits she was starstruck when she got to record a song with a band she idolised as a child - New Kids on the Block. She adds: "We were in rehearsal a couple of weeks ago and all of a sudden they showed up. We were in shock and didn't really know what to do. We were all like, 'Oh my God it's New Kids!'"
