Peter is now really annoying to watch because he speaks with one side of his mouth. is he a lil bit paralysed on the one side in the show or in real life?

The show is offically back to its best.

Sylar was fantastic in this episode. The writers are obviously big fans of Psycho as Sylar was going into Norman Bates mode several times in that episode.

I think Heroes is just very silly now. I'm not really into all this Sylar stuff. It's ok...but like I say, very silly.

You can see where the Sylar storyline is heading though... he's obviously going to kill someone and 'become' them, maybe even permanently.

This is the Sylar story:

Sylar is going to fall in love with Claire because they're both indestructible.

Terrible.

I'll put this is spoiler tags seeing as its about the season finale...

The finale left me feeling satisfied and unsatisfied. It did not feel like a season finale AT ALL. The pace was wayy too slow, although I got the feeling that the reason for this was the writers (well Bryan Fuller) was attempting to stop the equilibrium of season 3 and restart it again for next season. This was started with Hiro, who appears to have got sick due to using his powers.

OK, so end of an era really for Sylar. He was a great chracter to begin with but poor writing led to him being $h!t over the past two years. I'm not sure how this storyline is going to work out to be truthful. I get the feeling that over the course of next season Sylar will begin to question himself, and become a bit perplexed and eventually realise he's not actually Nathan.

Also, this Sythan storyline is gonna come back up again as its obvious Tracy is gonna go after Nathan and Noah eventually. Chuffed Peter got his powers back too, although the lack of Peter vs Sylar in a visual fight was a total blowout.

TBH, I really feel that this show has, by and large, just totally jumped the shark.... Season One was utterly fantastic, setting the situations and the characters up extremely well, season two started off slowly, but really gathered momentum in the final four episodes which made up for the first eight being dull. Season three has done the complete opposite, "Villains" was pretty excellent and got us back on to the sort of standards of the first season, whereas "Fugitives" has just totally lost the plot.... Sylar has just become a male version of X-Men's Rogue, only nowhere near as cool (I'm talking about the Rogue of the comic books by the way more than the film...), such a waste of what could be the show's strongest character...

I think this season, it's really gotten way too easy to see where they're "borrowing" their ideas from, whereas before it all seemed a bit more fresh and original... I find that I'm rapidly losing patience with this show, season four had better do something amazing, and pretty quickly in, otherwise, I doubt I'll continue watching.... Lost, by total contrast, now has me totally gripped even though I started losing faith in it.... As for the ever-excellent "Supernatural", well, that's just been knocking me side-ways throughout the fourth series, it's been turning very "Preacher" (a seriously good DC comic book series with similar themes of wars in heaven, angels walking the earth, etc) in this series, and has been taking some very, very dark turns with Sam's powers and Dean's revelations of what happened to him in Hell.... I'm only up to episode 13 of that one though.... And Terminator - Sarah Connor Chronicles..? Absolutely fantastic stuff..... Still to watch the final two eps of that, but, fukk me, that's just been one hell of a good show... Still working my way through the awesome Battlestar Galactica as well.... I'm gonna start an appreciation thread when I'm finished watching that....

I'll admit to being one of the 'Heroes is better than Lost' people back in 2006 when Heroes was beginning and Lost was at the lowest point its ever been at. Now Lost just beats EVERYTHING else on TV its that good really.

Heroes lost its way in season 2. It started out alright, but they dragged so many storylines out and the writers strike was a huge thing for them, as it allowed them to think in more detail about the storylines (not a good thing imo, just much time leads to too much effort, as shown by the last series).

Quite frankly they killed Sylar when they started this "he's my son business". The concept of Villains was a good thought but it didn't feel right. The show got TOO Sci-Fi. Especially this all these viruses, cures etc.

Although the last episode of Fugitives imo closes a huge chapter for Heroes. And the final scenes before it cuts to the next volume really cement that feeling. Season 4 is definitely going to go back to basics like in season 1. Hopefully we can hope its just as good as season 1 was.

LOST FTW.

got too bored with heroes ages ago, i have like the last 3 or 4 episodes waiting to be watched, i just cba its too boring.

LOST however, edge of my seat the whole time, now the Lost producers know how to make a show, much unlike the Heroes producers it seems.

As do the BSG producers..... Seriously dude, you wanna download or buy the BSG box-sets, it really is an amazing Sci-Fi show, vastly superior to the 70s original, and probably one of the three or four greatest Sci Fi serials of all time IMO.... Although my fave sci fi show of all time is probably still Babylon 5....

i was thinking about getting into BSG a while ago, may download it in the future, i have a virtual and physical pile of things to watch though

Heroes' worst season is definitely the 2nd one, went absolutely nowhere, even the last few good episodes werent enough to save that atrocious season. It definitely killed the show, and that's why loads didnt return to watch the 3rd season, which so far ranges between awesome and "wtf?" episodes.

I've been hearing loads about Battlestar Galactica, but havent seen a single episode. What's it about?

Battlestar Galactica is one of the best shows I've seen its a shame it came to an end, but they had to do it at some point, the drama on it was very hard hitting, provoking and took sci-fi to a new level, its got to be one of the best shows on TV.

I'm looking forward to the spin off series Caprica, the pilot will be aired September this year, with the first season early January 2010

I'm really in two minds about the finale

In one way, i LOVED IT and in another way i thought WTF? I see exactly where this story is going though :( AND also

WTF @ water tracey?!

is it really Tracey though? I love that she's back though, I just hope it isnt Barbara. Although I was hoping Tracey would evolve differently

It is definitely Tracey 100%. I can't remember what, but her new 'way' is based on someon from X-Men.
