October 22, 200816 yr True, but with bullets they normally just pop out like in the case of Claire in Russian Roulette and Maja at the end of season 2 when given Claire's blood. The only place that he could be shot is in the head, that's why Angela told Matt 'one bullet in the back of the head' should be able to kill him. Probably also why he had a pipe stuck in his head in her dream as well now I come to think about it
October 23, 200816 yr I can't even understand why Maya (and Alejandro) were included in the first place. At least the writers got rid of both. And please tell me that they've got rid of West - it's hard to believe a 17-year-old being played by someone born in 1980. No way was he born in 1980? :o He was GORGEOUS and didn't look a day past 20 in my opinion  I agree about Maya though. Her Americanised accent after just 6 months odd in the country makes me laugh. I'm really loving the series so far, it's so fast paced and they keep the shocks coming full force every week. Was so not expecting what happened in the 'Angels + Monsters' episode.

I couldn't believe it when I heard that he was older than Jo (who was born on 1 December 1980). And I wasn't even looking for him - I was trying to discover who the guy playing that Ukrainian that Noah murdered was. Edited October 23, 200816 yr by DitzyNizzy
October 28, 200816 yr another great episode, i really wanted to hear Mr P's convo with Sylar, i wanted to see Sylar's reactions, also Sylar blatenly did try to save Peter, Pinehurst seem like proper pricks now, it seems like were getting two teams 'The Company' vs Pinehurst. also after today's episode, i really think what Heroes need is a lesbian scene with Claire and Elle.

Elle's blatantly gonna go bad though haha. I have a feeling Sylar's being a double agent too. I am not liking Peter not having powers at all  He'll get them back.
November 3, 200816 yr Author A major development to report from the set of NBC's Heroes: EW.com has learned that co-executive producers Jeph Loeb and Jesse Alexander, two of the show's most instrumental writer/producers, are leaving the three-year-old series. Their departure comes at a watershed moment for Heroes, which has taken a serious hit in the ratings amid complaints by critics and fans alike that the show has lost its zeitgeist-tapping appeal. The drama is averaging 9 million-plus viewers this season, down from last year's 11.6 million average. Loeb and Alexander are celebrities in their own right among the fanboys. Loeb is an author of many comic books, including Batman, The Hulk, and Superman For All Seasons, which inspired the creation of Smallville. Loeb joined the then-WB drama in its second season. Alexander was previously a co-exeutive producer on Lost and Alias. It's unclear whether Heroes creator/executive producer Tim Kring will replace the two writer/producers. This has been pretty big news over yesterday and today. Basically if you didn't know, these two guys were responsible for all the comic book elements that was incorporated into Heroes, and from the feedback that's been given towards the show (and my own personal opinion) is that the show is getting too comicy. It's no longer a show about extraordinary people with extraordinary abilities. And also, for the large part of the season the writing has been SHOCKING. Add this to the fact Heroes has lost almost 3 million viewers! So I take this news as a very good thing.
November 7, 200816 yr I think Season 3 has been amazing so far! I perfer it much more when its fast paced and not moving along like an OAP in a 500 yard sprint. It makes up for the shambles that was Season 2. I hate it when people complain  They did the same with Buffy and Charmed when at intervals I remember - if you're a true fan, you're just meant to stick with the show through and throug. And as for Peter having no powers, I t hink when Crusty Daddy Petrelli snuffs it, all the powers he took might be returned? Either that or Peter will just be injected with that formula and his same ability will return or he'll have a new one?
November 7, 200816 yr This season has been amazing, so I dont know where you're coming from. The ratings dropped thanks to the large gap between this season and the last season, and the terrible episodes of Season 2, which were affected by the writers strike.
November 7, 200816 yr Author This season has been amazing, so I dont know where you're coming from. The ratings dropped thanks to the large gap between this season and the last season, and the terrible episodes of Season 2, which were affected by the writers strike. Not entirely true. The ratings have dropped a lot because of the abomonation that was Season 2, and also because of the writers' strike (similar thing happened when the last writers' strike occured to the shows about then). But 2 years ago this show was averaging 15 million viewers, and now it's avergaing 9 million. 6 million is a lot of viewers that've disappeared. NBC love Heroes, and they realise it's a show that can be a real ratings winner. I've enjoyed Season 3 so far, in that it's very compact, and a lot faster paced, although it's also become very "geeky". It's gone very comic booky, and it can get quite confusing, especially if you miss one episode. Anyway, there's going to be alot of change around Heroes, at the end of this season and next season, as probably the two mist influential writers have been sacked by NBC because they didn't like the direction the show was going, and that it was losing too many viewers. Which is quite true, some of the seaosn 2 plots were just absolutely fukin awful, I mean NO character could actually die unless they blown up. Btw all this stuff has stirred up from an Entertainment Weekly article, that was quite right on most of its points. So next season there'll be a lot less characters, and more simpler plots, and probably some more solely based character episodes (like Company Man from season 1).
November 13, 200816 yr I think episode 8 has been my favourite of the series so far! For geeks like me I love seeing the connections and having an episode which finally bridges the gaps. Cannot believe the ending though. Me and my friend were discussing why Arthur took his powers as he already had them from Peter and we came up with 2 ideas: 1. To abandon him in Africa 2. He didn't actually take his powers he just used telepathy to make him forget what he had found out.
November 13, 200816 yr ONLY IF YOU WATCHED NEXT WEEK'S EPISODE ON BBC THREE AT 10PM LAST NIGHT! Well now we know why Angela tried to kill her husband, the attempt on her sons life might just do it. Also, i think when Linderman healed her 'Mind scars', she is able to stop having her mind read (hence when she screams to matt parkman 'GET OUT OF MY HEAD' when she's interrogating him.) Also, OMG at the very end Mr. Petrelli going to Africa and stealing Hiro's power. Im still a bit unsure about Mr P's power. I dont know if he steals the power or duplicates them and keeps them.. We haven't seen Peter get his powers back yet, only time will tell. LOVING SEASON 3!! :D:D
November 13, 200816 yr Author is BBC3 on par with the US now then? Yes. It will be until Volume 3 finishes. Then Volume 4 doesn't begin until February 4th 2009.
November 13, 200816 yr i might actually watch it through my television then. when does volume 3 finish? i hate those stupid breaks, i remember the one for Lost (season 3or4orboth?) was torture.

Villans finishes 15th December in America. And they have to have breaks so production can catch up. :P
