Corrie is only good for Blanche really, I find it quite boring. I don't know how much the adverts have to do with it, but I'd take Eastenders over Corrie any day. I wonder what I'd think if they swapped channels though.

I love Eastenders but im really pissed off they axed Yolande and Honey plus Shabnam's gone, they should have given more stortlines. Plus i hate all the new charcaters (Suzy, Callum, Danielle)

Yeah, I loved Yolande. :( I don't like Danielle either, she's like a really wimpy character. <_<

Danielle for me is an ever weaker version of Ruby. They probably just realised Stacey needed some on to be friends with.

That's what I thought, Danielle just seems like Ruby part 2. I want her to tell Ronnie that she's her daughter soon, but she can disappear again after that because she's boring.

Yeah, i know. The whole Ronnie's daughter thing is ridicolous, plus it means there's yet another blooming Mitchell there.

I love how in soaps there are these long lost relatives that always show up and you never hear them mentioned until they arrive. It's ridiculous. Just like everyone knowing each other, I barely know my next door neighbours names, let alone the whole road.

Exactly, plus they all seem to work locally, all go to the same pub, relatives never come back to the funriels/weddings of loved ones etc

LOL exactly, in soaps, getting a job outside of town is basically an exit storyline. :lol:

I know, as if she'd like move away from Patrick for a new job. Surely she could take the train each day? Then again, I don't know how far she was meant to have gone.

I've stopped watching EE again new, the new characters made it unwatchable and bad mainly Danielle, Callum, Suzy & Archie.

LOL, it's those 4 for me aswell. I thought the new excutive producer was doing really well with new charcters like Jack, Ronnie, Roxy, The Masoods but then we got those 4 nightmares.

I don't think Archie is a bad character, he's meant to be absolutely vile so he's doing a good job imo. :lol: I think Suzy could be good if she had a proper story line that doesn't involve a bar of gold. :\

I know Archie's not ment to be liked but i still dont think he's a good character. Suzie's one of the worst ever though.

They're just not good storylines atm :(
