Sugababes Want Timbaland To Produce Their Next Album

Sugababes are already planning to work with producer Timbaland for their next album, even though they have a new LP coming out next month.

"We were going to do this album with him at one point, " Keisha Buchanan tells Planet Sound, meaning their forthcoming album 'Catfights And Spotlights'.

"It didn't come together in time, as we couldn't get our schedules to match. But we'll hook up at some point, I think, hopefully next time out."

Keisha also spoke of the trio's hectic work schedule, adding: "There's so much stuff we're trying to find time to do - we might be writing for Ne-Yo too."

Sugababes release new single 'Girls' on October 6th and the album 'Catfights And Spotlights' on October 14th.

His sound is dated now, never mind next year.

a track or 2 maybe, but not an album. Plus it would cost too much to produce an album with him

This is why I love this boy. He speaks full troof.

Well now we (sort of) know it wasn't just rumour and they do want it to happen.

Obviously so much could effect it though - if the sound they go with for this 6th album is a success, they'll not be wanting to switch it up too much for the next.

is no one excited this is saying there should be a new album after this 1 ahh :D

good point! that's amazing they're so commited to going on already!

Tired of this news though. They've been planning this with the last two albums so i won't hold my breath. I get the impression their plan to work together is like those people you bump into in the street or parties and say to "we should totally catch up sometime!" when you both really know neither of you will get around to it!

Why would they be writing for Ne-yo  No offence but they're hardly know as great writers are they? I mean yeah they co-write songs, but they've never written for another artist have they? And why would Ne-yo want them writing for him when he writes all his own material and others  ?

Anyways, about the Timbo thing, wouldn't mind a few songs on the album, not a whole album though, would ruin them for me :(

I hate it when acts get too far ahead of themselves and take things for granted.

In todays market, you should concentrate on whats happening today, not tomorrow.

They have made themselves walk into criticism now, i can just see it now - "this album isnt very good but atleast we can look forward to the timbaland one"

They haven't done that at ALL :/ I don't understand that mentality. How can they be criticised for saying they'll be around a little while longer yet?! This'll just go some way at least towards making those constant split rumours seem all the more ridiculous.

Well yeh its good in that respect, though i dont think they get that many split rumours do they? There was the ones when amelle and co was up to naughty things but i think we all just took that with a pinch of salt.

I'm just saying that when it comes to critrics, you have to be two steps ahead of them. If they think the material isnt good, they will say its been rushed and alsorts.

I really hope they dont work with Timbaland. His stuff is boring and bland and everybody is working with him, its just so predictable.
