Posted June 6, 200619 yr It seems Tony Blair is looking at the possibility of docking housing benefit from the so called "neighbours from hell", unless they learn to mend their ways. Is this a good idea to combat the scurge of housing schemes up and down the country, would it work, or is it just another "new labour" headline grabbing to divert attention from Iraq and Prescott.
June 6, 200619 yr Sounds a bit simplistic to me and just trying to get a headline in The Sun I think its a strange assumption that every chav and yob in this country is on benefits since drink is the main cause of anto social behaviour Edited June 6, 200619 yr by Ozzy Osbourne
June 7, 200619 yr Another headline-grabber from B-Liar to be honest. I agree with Ozzy, not every Chav or Yob is on benefits, there's loads of loutish, drunken scum out there with good jobs (and at £5 a drink in some clubs in London as well as spending about £15 to get into the fukkin' places, be serious, how many dolies can afford to go to 'em...?). There's also plenty Toffs and Young Conservative-types who act in a similarly reprehensible, anti-social manner (as well as plenty of examples of these stupid, young Premiership footballers who start drunken rucks in nightclubs as well...), so merely blaming the poor all the time for Anti-Social behaviour is just totally sh!tty, and this coming from the bloody Labour Party..... <_<
June 7, 200619 yr how would it help if they lost their benefits?... they would just have to rob to survive..
June 7, 200619 yr how would it help if they lost their benefits?... they would just have to rob to survive.. A very good point Rob... Like I say, this is just another measure by this corrupt, tired, lame-duck Govt to grab headlines and curry favour with the Daily Mail/Express/Telegraph readership. Pathetic, you expect it from the Tories, not from a so-called Labour Govt....
June 7, 200619 yr absolutely ridiculous and unjust that they should lose benefits or their homes for their behaviour. They should lose their hands.
