I always feel that actors age far more gracefully than singers, so I would hate to see D stuck in the role of rock or pop

singer for too long. I hope he keeps all routes open.

He seems to have an auxiliary life force for the stage, singing or acting. He totally commands the whole thing.

Obviously I'm looking forward to seeing Darius again, but I worry that Hotel Babylon didn't get very good reviews last time it was on , so it gives the "critics" yet another chance to have a go at Darius no matter how good he is. Sue

I've never watched Hotel Babylon. Am I right in expecting a sort of Corrie/Eastenders but set in a hotel?

I don't watch any of the soaps (unless Casualty can be seen as one).

Do the H.B. episodes all follow on, or is each one a story in its own right?

I've never lasted an episode for Hotel Babylon - but my daughter loves it. I wouldn't worry, we know what the press are like. I'm not wooried, I don't expect it to apeal to me so I can only be pleasantly surprised.

hubby liked HB when that tasmin was in it - I myself dont like the effects and the slow motion camera shots and the talking to camera that it had when I saw it - it was light wieght individual stories when I watched it. we like Hustle though, which has the same feel to it, albeit totally different settings LOL

Some of the episodes I saw seemed to have such silly story lines. The first series appealed to me more than the last one when alot of the characters changed. Sue

If D's supposed to be on in February and he's a few episodes in, surely HB would need to start very soon?

No,i would've thought there would've been some by now,whats going on??BTW,it must be the 5th rather than the 4th that Darius will be in it,as the 5th is a Thursday and its always been on this day of the week!

I think the series starts in February some time but Darius won't be on until the 5th? episode so he probably won't appear until March.

how popular the previous series were. Did they attract a lot of viewers?
