The actress, who played Chloe Atkinson in Emmerdale, will appear in the final two episodes of the fourth series as receptionist Mel. "It's my first big TV role since Emmerdale and it's great to be back. It’s very different from working in theatre," she told the Manchester Evening News. "But I'm really excited about it. All the cast are lovely and I play a wonderful character who is great fun to bring to life. "[Mel] isn't exactly the kind of character you'd expect to be working behind reception in a five-star hotel. She's great fun to play, though." Nuttall will star opposite Nigel Harman, who replaces MaxBeesley. I still think it is odd that all these other guest stars get mentioned in this connection but D does not.
February 6, 200916 yr If she's doing the last 2 episodes in series 4 then she's in 7 and 8. Assuming that Darius got his numbers right, he's in 5 or maybe 6. So they won't be working together which is maybe just as well, or the press might be tempted to dig out their photo to regurgitate their claim that Darius once dated Amy Nuttall.
February 10, 200916 yr Dexter Fletcher is appearing on 'Loose Women' tomorrow. I assume he will be promoting Hotel Babylon (he plays Tony, the concierge in the programme). You never know, D may even get a mention, but if not at least we will find out more about the programme itself (I've never watched it before!)! Maybe Nigel Harman will do some promotion - I would like to think that he may mention Darius in discussion if he does! :) 'Hustle' finishes this week so we may not have too long to wait now Julie

February 11, 200916 yr I'd like to see Darius play a truly evil character - Billy, Sky and Rhett are flawed, but not inherently bad. It won't be in HB though. It's fun escapism and like Extras, half the fun is seeing what they do to/with the guest stars. I haven't seen any trailer ads for Hotel Babylon. Maybe that's because I can't remember when I last BBC tv for a night. I've been catching up on shows through i-player because I've been out so much recently.

February 13, 200916 yr Its going to be on on Thursdays Baytree,is that what you meant? :) I'm afraid there is no mention in next week's TV and Satellite nor in the new Sky Magazine!! Posters on DS just assumed that Hotel Babylon would follow on from Hustle in the Thursday 9p.m. slot but all Dexter Fletcher said on Loose Women was that Hotel Babylon would be returning in the Spring. He didn't make it sound like it was very imminent!!! :( We will just have to wait and see - at least it is being mentioned - I was beginning to wonder if it had been scrapped!!!!! Julie
February 14, 200916 yr thnx Julie, i was going to have a look in the tv mags today,but would've been very disapointed :( .Lets just hope that we dont have to wait TOO long into Spring to see Darius!!..........March is part of Spring though isn't it?? They seem to be making it further and further away!! :(
